This is The Bread $how, and I'm really just a "Single Player Game" type of guy. I also like all different types of animation too, and oftentimes, I try my own animations as well.
P.S. - The Channel is called "The Bread $how" because I actually have an insatiable love for bread irl. I have some form of it with every meal.

Thanks Brodie‼️ hopefully more incoming😅
Ty I didn’t even understand how it split into 3 bits the timeline but this made it easy to understand
Ofc brodie‼️‼️ i figured the real thing was confusing 😂😭
Haven’t played rdr2 yet, but i loved god of war 2018
Top tier game
Have you played Pokemon Fire Red: Rocket Edition and Pokemon Rocket Edition. If so, the 2 villain focused Pokemon games had mention the government in the Pokemon. According to these 2 games, it is mentioned that if you became the champion of the region, you get the politcal power and rights to rule the region. I suggest play Pokemon Fire Red: Rocket Edition and Pokemon Rocket Edition and see who is running the government in the Pokemon games.
Tbh I gotta get to playing the rom hacks😂😅 truth be told I never play them that much but since this one got recommended I’ll look into it
Remember me when you famous
I gotchu Phrogie‼️😅
The shiny odds were cut down in gen 6, but i have a shiny starter on my soul silver. Love the video tho glad you popped up for me keep up the grind
Oop and i got pokerus i shouldve watched while video first still lovin it lol
This man might be the luckiest ever😂😅 shiny starter on raw odds is crazy ‼️
@@TheeBreadShow lol its not too bad you just gotta do it as a past time, but to be fair ive been shiny hunting on and off for a good 20 or so years. Its a good way to keep the mind going while watching youtube. I even bring a gba to work and do a few random encounters if the shift is going slow
Great video man. Got randomly recommended your vid. I haven't even played Pokemon since gen 1 and I found it interesting. Since you mentioned video ideas and One Piece, I would look into maybe getting into anime content as well. It has a strong niche with an overlap with gaming content like your already doing and people eat up the "first time watching One Piece" content where you review each arc and stuff. Also you're really funny so comedy style videos would def work well with you. Either way, I subbed and will keep watching your vids!
Thanks for the sub fasho‼️ I def got some anime stuff coming up👀👀 and imma get the comedy going fasho ‼️
My 1st shiny was a radicate ❤ in jhoto
With raw odds?? That’s a special find fasho‼️
I think in Gen 1, the Pokemon games were originally set in our real world. The 'Kanto' region (was it actually called that in game in RGBY?) was just supposed to be an isolated part of Japan where yokai were real. Hence the references to real world places like America, South America, China, and France. I think by Gen 3/4 they realized it should be set in it's own world, both for more games and to avoid real world politics. So Surge being Unovian, the SS Anne being from Kalos, etc. are technically retcons, but in my opinion it was a good move.
yeah i always wonder what the vision for Pokemon was originally... Was it supposed to always be what it is now?
Star wasn't even the villain of their own storyline though. Harrington and the old school staff were the villains of the Star plot and people don't even remember that. Skull was compliant in a kidnapping so, even though it was on Aether's word, they still qualify as villains. Galactic in two different mangas kidnap a kid and raise her as a living weapon (though Phantom Thief Pokemon 7 is a bit unusual since their Galactic doesn't have much resemblance to the one in the game. DPA though...that poor kid tried to kill herself after realizing the full weight of what she'd done) Also is it legally murder if you resurrect people afterwards? I guess that's a bit of an odd question but that was what Galactic was after. Especially since they'd also be forever altered, having their entire brain chemistry changed to be incapable of feeling emotions. And that's pretty wild. How do you feel about the more independent villains like the SV professors or Volo or even Chairman Rose, whose actions don't seem to have much to do with his organization? And how about side games?
Out of all the villains. Flare was the worst one. I may not take seriously the motivations of Team Magma and Aqua, but the point is that they are extremists who do genuinely wanted to help Hoenn. With Archie expanding Water Type Pokemon ecosystem or Maxie trying to expand more land.Sure they were jokes but at least the game didn't take them seriously. But Team Flare I cannot take seriously especially their uniforms and poor motivations. Lysandre and Xerosic was the only members I remembered. But I couldn't take Lysandre seriously. His motivations that the Pokeworld can be cruel could make sense in some extent, yet his ways as well as stupid moments was trying to eliminate both pokemon and humans because he had "no choice". Seriously...sigh. I get they want to show how tragic it is yet he still wanted to commit massive destruction towards people. The legendary pokemon by pokemon teams is overdone at this point, and X and Y showed how bad if executed incorrectly. However if there is one thing I enjoyed about Lysandre that the games sadly never developed is his relationship with Sycamore. He was a friend to Sycamore during their time together as student and mentee. I'm sure he appreciated Sycamore's company and based on Sycamore's words he did cared for his friend too. I feel if X and Y expanded their series, Lysandre could've been a tragic villain if Sycamore was more involved in stopping Lysandre with you. Heck, even the weird original ideas were that Lysandre was the XY trainer's father. Yes the I am your father trope is done too much, yet if done well they could've done that. Or a concept art according to a 2018 article revealed Lysandre was an alien and that Sycamore of all people was his Jekyll persona. Yes in the original 2018 article Sycamore and Lysnadre were one and the same. Imagine that. However the Lysandre we got wasn't great and because of this he is the black sheep of Pokemon villainy. But if there's anything redeemable about him, the anime and Adventures Manga made him the Best. And Pokemon Masters EX made him written well.
Wasn't that article more of a a random "what if we did this" idea that never got very far during production?
Good video
Thanks!!
Team rocket is definitely the most mob like though. Probably the one team you wouldn't want to mess with above all of them.
The mob mentality is deeep with them😂
Team magma shouldn't be on this list, they just wanted to make more land for people and pokemon to live on they just went about it in the wrong way team aqua on the other hand are full on eco terrorist who wanted to flood the world, sure maybe they wanted to do it so the sea pokemon would have more room or some shit like that but the sea is pretty damn big already and they would've killed so many people and land pokemon, do fish really matter that much that every one else has to die?
Yeah but there ideas were incredibly dumb in the way they handled it ig😭😭
@@TheeBreadShow being dumb doesn't make someone evil tho if it did team star should 100% be on this list damn penny alone should be at the top of the list and also in jail for her crimes like the people from gen 8s post game who for some reason no one ever tried to put in jail even though they were full on terrorist trying to take over the country
N would be horrified
Maybe this is the world he envisioned 😂
I think it depends on the region? Alola has the Kahuna's who I'm pretty sure are the people in charge and they were chosen by the island gods and also the league was also a recent thing. So it's safe to say that Alola is not ruled by the Elite Four and Champion. Same is probably true with Paldea since it was at least implied that the league was still a pretty recent thing there too. Also Galar treats it as a sports thing so it's not the government there either Not sure about the other regions though.
i mean team flare is kind of trash no different from galactic both plans would end the world. team galactic was undone because the leader let the player release the lake trio then ask why they(lake trio) stop him when he had abuse them. team flare was some how worse everyone is forgettable except just Lysander who plan was the height of stupid. he kill everything and wipe out beauty. team plasma was run by a guy with a god complex who raised a child to see humans as bad on propose bringing only Pokémon hurt by humans to manipulate N. then he abuse N more by telling him the truth and calling him a freak at the end of BW. in BW2 he has a new team he wasn't done, freeze over a city, then the final battle tries to kill the player a child. to me team flare plan has the one moment vs team plasma which has multiple crimes covering BW to BW2.
A lot of the evil team leaders ahead god complexes, Cyrus says included 😂 these guys were straight maniacs
Pokémon is almost a 30-year-old franchise. Its own lore has changed both in-universe and outside (game freak’s ideas). For example, in Gen1 it was clear that both in-universe lore and gamefreak’s ideas were going for Pokemon to be some sort of mutated animals with new being the original. Also, Pokémon was part of the “real” world (Mew in Guyana, LT Surge being American, etc). We now have literal Pokémon Gods, creationist origins (Arceus), and the Pokémon world being completely different from ours (Unova in place of America and so on). Why do I bring this up? To illustrate that the Pokemon League was probably meant to be the government during the early days, up to Gen3 maybe. Then they started modernizing the franchise and they gave us a “definitive” version of the league being a sports league like FIFA with regional variants. But that’s probably a retcon.
5:55 Ghetsis tries to kill the player in BW2, I'd consider that to be pretty evil, more so since the protagonist is a child
He also threatens to kill Lillie in USUM and boasts about having possibly killed Paulo's Rockruff in Pokemon Masters EX, causing Paulo to straight up inherit Lysandre's ambition and unleash what had potential to be Pokemon's Armageddon. and then Giovanni, being Giovanni, seized control of that entire climax and became the final boss.
I’m rolling with Team Rocket 🚀
EVERYONE SHAMMMMEEE THIS MAN
IMO I think it depends on the region and even what constitutes a “government” as you mentioned. Although some context clues could definitely rule out Alola and Galar as ones where the league may rule, as both don’t seem to hold their leagues as sources of authority in the same sort of way other regions do. In Alola it’s clear the Kahuna’s have a strong say even if to what degree we don’t know. The deciding fact to this case would be the fact that their leauge was recently established. Galar has just as much of a clear cut case where public Pokémon battling in the regions is shown to be treated as a glorified sport and spectacle to a degree where they only have a tournament without any formal elite four to speak of, and crowds gather in stadiums to watch gym battles where other regions have far fewer on a smaller scale or even as private affairs all together.
Then the Pokémon rangers must be public service workers! They are mentioned in the side games as keepers of the peace who deal with Pokémon related ecological problems and also deal with the gang fights. Peacefully I might add. They don’t fight their way to the top, they learn their way through school and are stationed throughout multiple regions as ecologists/police/firefighters. They work with Pokemon through an association to keep peace in the Pokemon world. It was Pokémon’s answer to PETA. If you find it morally wrong to make animals fight for honor, power and glory, treat them like a friend. They still have powers that can be used and in this situation they are, to let’s say, put out a fire or save the region from being taken over by an evil organization. They are the closest thing you’ll find in the franchise to some solid opposition to the evil organizations of the story. Also, if the elite four are the government, then they hired a four year old to run paldea.
Hell yes, Team Galactic representing the Crazy Ones. Cyrus (in Platinum at least) is my favorite team boss because of how absurd his plot is. He thinks the world sucks so he's going to DESTROY IT and then make another, cooler world and put at least some of the people from the original world in it just so that they can see he's right. And his idea of 'cooler world' is 'remove human spirit', which translates in practice to 'remove human emotion.' Spirit in Sinnoh is split into the emotion-willpower-intelligence trio, and Cyrus only really has beef with emotion. The man is peak at making his problem everyone's problem.
Eh, I think Team Rocket should've made the list bc they straight up kiII pokémon, like Cubone's mother (poaching), which obviously isn't on the same level as the crimes against humanity of other teams, but it is still reprehensible
What the player sees is a reconstruction based on what the champion remembers. Ash: Viridian City has a pokecenter, a mart, a gym, some houses I guess His mother: What about cafes, parks, police stations or art galleries? Ash: *shrugs
There were plenty of Kings in the past of the Pokemon World like AZ or Almia's King & technically N was supposed to be a modern day king. These are just the games & the anime mentions plenty of other small kingdoms existing. My opinion is that there still is some form of government that the 10 Year Old player just doesn't interact with. I don't think the Pokemon Company wants to delve into politics of a modern world. The main series could never perform a plot like you see in the Mystery Dungeon games where the player is a fugitive.
Coming for my brand
I think we might love the same thing👀
Man, Team Flare was so half-baked. I've heard that originally they were supposed to be aliens, and Gamefreak scrapped the idea halfway through development, and… I mean, I've gotta believe it, cuz there's no better explanation for how unfinished that section of the plot was.
That would’ve been the craziest idea ever 😂😂😂 but yeah maybe that’s why we got the only sequel Pokémon game ever
@@TheeBreadShow ...Whoopsie, I said plasma instead of flare... Let me just edit that...
I heard that Professor Sycamore and Lysandre were originally gonna be one character, but then the concept for this character got split into 2 characters
Misread your name as "The Breed Show"
An alternate universe KZread channel about all the wrong things😂😭
Great video! Look forward to what you do next
Thanks fr‼️ I got more Pokemon , Nintendo , and anime videos coming out (and game shows and stuff)
Good video, I just had one gripe. I definitely thought team plasma was the most nefarious, in bw there were members abusing a munna in the dreamyard along with ghetsis brainwashing and using N for his own benefit. Then ghetsis trying to kill the protagonist in b2w2. Along with lots of kidnappings of pokemon in b2w2.
Team plasma was def top three, abusing that Munna was crazy stuff😭 ghetsis was on one fasho, I definitely understand where you’re coming from
to be fair a few members doing something really bad doesn't mean all members of the team are as bad as them it's like saying the nazis weren't bad because some of them were just soliders following orders and not actually full on jew hating nazis
@@Ashadar_Resouley they were still complicit in the same shit though.
bro how does he only have 2k subs
More on the way👀
rip
To a real one
I used to hate skill trees. I’ve learned to appreciate them now, but most games don’t need them.
Yeah def one of the most overused techs😭
I’ve been writing Paldea fic (Operation Comet Punch) where I’m interpreting the League AS the main body of government but it’s hilarious how unclear they are with this stuff. Been reading the ScarVi manga for research and it’s been really fun. Also, LOVED your point about how every damn distressing event in the games is never addressed by actual organizations! Like. Seriously wtf
I find that interesting because iirc it was said or implied that the league was only a recent thing in Paldea in which case I gotta wonder what the governing body was before that also link? I might read it.
I've always wondered if the Opelucid attacks were closer to "bad snowstorm" or "Never Forget" levels of bad lol
I always thought it was a bad snowstorm simulator 😂😂
if "bad snowstorm" one can argue Wulfric's done an equal crime because all the snow in Snowbelle City was made from that gym itself rather than the actual weather!
Lysandre is deemed to be from a royal bloodline and Kalos has duke and duchess titles from powerful trainers
Actually yes gym leaders make money like Brock needs money to make food on the road it has to come from somewhere and Brock was taking care of his siblings since his father abandoned all of them and in Pokémon chronicles we see there is an inspector who is nurse joy for some reason same thing for clemont and cilan they have to get their money for things like building clembot from somewhere so yes they gym leaders have to be making some good money like Misty’s sisters do water shows probably because being gym leaders isn’t making enough money for them.
There's references to past kings and emperors in a few of the games, such as Scarlet.
In my opinion, the Pokemon League, including the Gyms, are part of a or are the military and not a government. It would make sense to put the most experienced and powerful battler at the top of a military and not the government. This doesn't solve the question what and where the government is in Pokemon, of course, but it makes more sense to me.
Do Pokémon eat eachother? Mareanie: mmm… corsola… yum…
Devious 😂
For Mother/Earthbound I think they don't do more with it cause the man who created the series isn't part of the game industry like that and considers Mother 3 the conclusion. It was more of a passion project experiment to make a new style if rpg and tell stories he felt inspired to make. And Nintendo is just respecting his wishes i figure. But it's true, in the West, Mother 2/Earthbound is a prime example of a game gaining love a bit after release. As for Sonic Generations, tbh I remember folks loving it pretty universally. Well as universally as the Sonic fanbase, especially in 2011 can love something lol. It and Colors broke folks being down on the franchise for a while at the time 06 caused (even though i thought there were some good stuff even in between). I was in the Sonic discourse trenches in like elementary/middle school back then so i know Generations was a breath of fresh air seeing mostly praise lol.
Yeah the sonic generation release was smooth, but also on rocky ground ig😅😅 Btw glad to hear you talk about earthbound, that’s a top ten game to me‼️‼️
3:28 To be fair, governments tend to take a while to act, and that whole fiasco happened over the course of a couple hours at most, unless the player is slow AF.
Canon to what? Each is their own universe, the Manga the games the anime etc
TBS: I'm using the Oger against you and I will rub it in your face too! Porygon-Z used Hyper Beam! TBS: NO! *Ogerpon fainted* Kieran: You were saying, bub?
The reason why unova is the most similar to America is becase unova was based on America and also every gym leader was in Pokemon world tornament in unova so thats not a konecson what the hell were you yapping about 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Also chairman rose is probably the closest we have to a current government...also about pokemon war there are 2 wars we know of...one is the ly surge war and the other was the "kalos"and "other" conflict which ended with the firing of the ultimate weapon....wich was so strong it caused a timeline split and made the one who fired it AZ and his flowette immortal.
There have Bbeen MANY kings mentioned they are all just like .....3000 years old.....
