  Thank you! The fabrics used for the dress are lavender Duchess satin from eBay and striped/textured organza from AliExpress.

  Sina! The amount of care and consideration you put into the planning step alone is just amazing. Your diligence, creativity, and skill combine to create such a lovely work of art, and that's exactly what this kefta is! I've always been so afraid to craft original cosplay, as I've no background in fashion design, but this breakdown of your process makes me feel as if I can. Thank you for motivating me to give it a go. And thank you for sharing your own sources of inspiration. I love the draw from particular pieces of text, the visual moodboard, and for normalizing that balance between attention to detail, but also not having to make every single little piece to qualify as cosplay. <3

  Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm really happy you enjoyed this video and that it helped to inspire you. I have absolutely no background in fashion design either. I can't even draw (as you could see). What I've learned in the past two years is that any design approach is legit and perfectly fine - even if you can draw or not. So give it a go! I found it incredibly liberating and fun! <3
