I live on a sharp curve and a corner lot. Every time my lawn begins to look nice, some idiot will lose control and plow through my yard leaving me to deal with my mower bottoming out over the ruts. Most of them are either drunk or going too fast. Over the span of ten years, only two people have even offered to repair my lawn.

This shit reminds me of the Rick and Morty scene where Morty experiences true level. This shit is insane.

I'm here because a semi-trailer ran over my lawn trying to cut the corner. I live on a corner lot too... 😢 I have 4" deep ruts.

What kind of sand? Do you mix your sand with potting soil, and if not, why? Great backyard!

I installed sod about 8 days ago it’s already rooted and thriving. Some small areas are falling behind. Do you think I will be okay if I added some jacks 20-20-20? And dilute it good?

Very well explained. As a professional I would just take the old rotor out completely and dig back until I found the funny pipe or flex PVC (however it was connected) and install a new rotor onto the funny pipe elbow. I can’t see having to go through this process again when the rotor stops turning. I hate call backs. If a rotor needs to be raised we toss the old one and replace.

Funny, my construction friend was telling me about you. I am 72 and love my yard. I have worked on it for 12 years. I am no where close to your excellence. We were laughing because I just ordered my lawn sprinkler system. It will be installed in 2 weeks. This will be a game change for me. I am obsessed with my lawn. It makes me happy!! Thanks for sharing

Without a pump all you can expect is pressure equalization or about a gallon. Just go to the pump station at the gas station. This is amusing and scary at the same time. ridiculous.

Sand is what glass is made from. Let that percolate for a bit. Sand offers ZERO nutritional value for the soil and grass. Get real rich mix top soil with compost. Avoid MY mistake by using sand. Don't use sand. It choked off my grass and killed it. Nothing but large bare sand spots.

You may want to get rid of the trees. They can and will mess up the foundation of your home if the roots start growing towards the house. Not to mention every root is a potential new tree. I am dealing with the same problem with my neighbors cottonwood. It was chopped down about 6 months ago but the roots keep trying to sprout in my yard.
