Great info thank you!
Thanks very much for such an amazing lecture.
Thanks very much, for such an amazing lecture.
It was a very clear explanation of fetal heart monitoring. It helped me to understand the interpretation of fetal heart strip and nursing interventions. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Thank you for making these concepts easy to understand. I will recommend your channel to my fellow classmates. 🙂💯
Thank you for the best lectures on KZread, I am grateful!
This lecture is very helpful!! Thank you for sharing this!! Could you tell me which video is part 2?? You attached the audio link that also helps me a lot!!Thank you!

Thank you for your response!! I will start working as a newborn nursery nurse in March and I am reviewing with your videos!
It would be awesome if u had a lecture on each chapter
I’m working on a new series. Look for updates and new content this summer.
Great explanation & very helpful!
Glad you think so! Thanks for commenting.
Do you have an answer key? These videos/notes are helpful and I want to share with my cohort.
I’m so glad you find these useful. The guided notes are there to help you focus on the important content. It would defeat the purpose if a key was provided.
I really appreciate your Lecture I love them a lot 💓 thanks for your time
It's my pleasure.
Great video. Thank you
Glad you liked it!
These videos are great. Notes also.
I’m happy they are useful to you.
I can’t thank you enough but to let you know that because of your videos I did pass my maternity course. Once again thank you so much

Thank you! Amazing lectures straight to the point!
I’m happy they are useful.
Thank you. I truly appreciate your lectures.
You are very welcome
These videos are helping me get through OB. I got my highest grade since fundamentals!
Thank you for this. I really love how comprehensive and practical your presentation is! How I wish you have this for MedSurg too!
Glad it was helpful! I’m not an expert in med surg so it wouldn’t be useful. Best wishes to you in your studies.
I love how comprehensive and practical your videos are! Thank you so much!
You are so welcome!
You are great teacher

U are a great professor, your slides are very well explained and I passed maternity just to let know awesome
Great job! Yay!
I’m here to listen to your clear explanation. Thank you so much
You’re welcome. Thanks for watching.
I can not find words to thank you, you've been such a blessing love your lectures.
Thank you for reaching out. I’m glad these are useful to you.
Truly amazing how well you explain each disease and it's processes. I have my first maternity exam next week and felt defeated until I came across your channel. I've learned so much from just watching your videos! Thank you so much Professor Elliott :)
Thanks for reaching out. Let me know how the exam goes.
Your lectures have been a God sent for my daughter. I’m a nurse of 25 years helping her get through Nursing school. Do you have any references for books to help with Next Gen questions for OB and do you have a colleague that has videos for the Pediatric course?
I’m happy to hear the videos are useful to your daughter. I’ve tried to get my pediatric colleague (I’m looking at you Di) to record lectures but they haven’t been able to make it work. To be fair,it takes a ton of time and there is no compensation other than your appreciation 🙂
Thank you@@LeahElliottOBNurseProfessor
Hope you see this but. Today is Wednesday, September 27, 2023 and all your videos are still making a big impact in upcoming nurse's life. Isn't that a wonderful thing? to me i think you are a hero. and i will continue to pray for God's Blessings upon your life. you are a mother, a teacher, a helper, a guidance and a hero. i can keep going but youtube will say i have exceeded my words limit. well i hope this message finds you well. just wanted to remember you that even till today you are still impacting lives. thank you very much madame, As you go on in your life please remember that you are an amazing woman. God bless you.
So nice of you to reach out. Thank you for your kind words.
Is there any way you would make a lecture for Ch. 26-29 with a guided study guide? This has helped so much.
@Mindymercado7230 I’m happy to know you found my lecture useful. Chapters 26-29 are moving into the peds section and that is not my expertise. You could make your own guided notes but using the objectives from the book. Best wishes to you in your studies.
Great video, thank you
Glad you liked it.
Thank you!💛
would you consider posting the rest of the book chapters. I need these lectures. It's a way for me to visit it more than once to be able to pass exams and it's helping so much.
I am so glad these lectures are useful to you. The issue is, I am not a Peds expert. I don’t have the knowledge base to be effective. I apologize I can’t be more useful with that content.
Will you list the website to go to for the evidence based practice? Please and thank you so much. I learn so much by watching these videos. I have been looking to listen to lecture to understand the classes.
Mindy, are you asking for my references for the evidence based practice mentioned in my lectures? It comes from many resources, CMQCC, ACOG, ACNM. Varney’s midwifery and the Ricci text. I hope that helps.
Thanks for making the textbook more interesting and adding additional resources for us to dig a little deeper into the content! I appreciate you taking the time to make the video for other students who aren't in your class.
My pleasure!
You’re amazing at explaining these concepts ! 💖 thank you! In finals now for OB in my 3rd semester . Small break then 4th semester on the fall! 🎉
Nice! I am happy you get what you need from these lectures. Good luck on finals and beyond.
❤thank you
waou!!! amazing lecture. I wish having you as my instructor.
I am your virtual instructor. 😀
Thank you!! I watched so many videos and none explained how to when to actually count (visualize) Onset - nadir
I’m glad you found it helpful. Two important points, Heart rate Variability is key and uterine resting tone of greater than 60 seconds is needed for adequate refilling of the spiral arteries.
This is amazing! I so appreciate your lessons!
My pleasure.
Yes, indeed, it's helpful. Keep up the good work
Thank you 🙇
Your lecture style is *perfect*! I wish that you could teach me about everything that I am supposed to learn for work and about everything that I'm just interested in (like geology or the history of antiquity 😂) I don't exactly know *why* I felt compelled to watch this particular video or why it was in my feed, honestly. But I'm glad that I wound up here. I have been a paramedic for way too long and, of course, we had OBGYN sections in medic & EMT school. And there's OBGYN CMEs et al. But, as I'm sure you know, this field is uncomfortably glossed over and rushed through in a lot of settings, including medical schools! Like more so than other "overview" categories. That's obviously especially true when the instructors are, like, salty old firefighter medics and younger stereotypical-type "bro" firefighter medics who still have a 12yo boy type level of squeamishness about anything other than the vulva, clitoris, and vaginal canal 😂 A lot of female instructors are also pretty uncomfortable with this section though. So it's probably more of an overall, subconscious cultural thing than the inaccurate, deeply bigoted idea that men are just being "big dumb misogynistic apes who have a genital double standard because they never shut up about *their* anatomy". Basically? It's just really cool to learn about OB/L&D in appropriate depth! I do remember my female EMT instructor sternly telling a group of ultra fresh-faced 19-21 "fire bro" type boys "If you *ever* utter the phrase 'spontaneous abortion to a or in front of miscarrying patient, there *will be* HELL!! And I *will* find out... even if it's like 20 years from now" 😂
I don’t know everything about everything. Just a lot about a narrow topic.
Thank you. Great lecture.
Thank you. Great lecture
I’m happy you found this useful. There is an updated version in the playlist for 2022.

Hi. Thank you for your videos. Do you have videos for chapters 5 & 9?

You are so welcome!
I am a new professor, and I am teaching from these books. Your power points are amazing, and I wanted to know if you would be willing to allow me to use them in my lectures?
I’m so glad you find them useful. You are welcome to send the students to my videos as an adjunct to your teaching.
I just noticed you are using old versions. Head to the updated 2022 playlist.
