    how hard was the power wire to run through the firewall? I want to do the exact same setup as you did where I keep the original horn and have a separate button for the "train horn". I also bought two of the kits so am curious if those be run together on one relay. So many questions. I totally understand why this install took longer than it should have. It seems straight forward but I dont want it to be janky.

  • @yesla4tesla
    @yesla4tesla Жыл бұрын

    Danielle, I did some research on that year.. Here is what I found: Some early Teslas will not show the tire pressure, only a low pressure warning. you will have to upgrade the TPMS. Tesla changed the entire Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) starting with VIN 50900, around September 2014. Cars prior to this VIN have an older system that is unable to display tire pressure in the car. It still will warn of a tire with low pressure.

    The max is 45 so a cold pressure of 45 would be 47-49 in hot weather. Thus overinflated. Tesla recommends a pressure between 40-45 for this reason. Fill cold to 42-43 is much better. And with Nitrogen is also better as it doesn’t expand with heat nearly the way normal compressed air does. Good luck.
