The man was absolutely fascinating and intelligent - it's so obvious with the way he answers the questions! Every single U. S. President, from this day forward, until the end of time, should commit to memory this entire interview!! It's just beyond incredible!

John was really good, honest and straight motivation and action. I knew him when I was 10 years old, on the SS United States, transatlantic over the north ocean to Europe. He was my captain, guide, teacher, etc, during 5 days. All over the ship. So, during the years I have watched and attended to it all, the movies, content, frame and expanse, dynamic personalities. Then recently I thought to know about that aspect of John Wayne which is not generally as prominently examined as the out in wide open air and Action. The business of making the movie. This interview is of value about that. John was solid at the practice of the business.

I just noticed from the description that this was an American show, which surprises me a bit simply because of the interviewer's accent. "Mercy Sandberg-White"; her accent sounds Scandinavian to me and perhaps one of her parents, the Sandberg presumably, was a first generation immigrant, or perhaps she herself was an immigrant. Whatever the truth, it surprises me to hear an interviewer/presenter on American TV (or British for that matter, at least in that era) with a foreign accent. The description says that she was a stand-in host, she certainly did a good job in my opinion.

Crap interview Just kidding That word, Gonzo, with his mad image has changed American drastically. Gonzo goes both ways, its like an angry little girl. Its a complex power word of sorts, a beer with a pop top like in the 70s so you can see the tear.

What is often hailed as his greatest achievement, the so called “opening to China”, is in reality, his greatest blunder. There was no need to recognize communist China, when the U.S. already recognized the legitimate government of China in Taiwan.

Eisenhower stopped General Patten from marching onward to Victory in Berlin, condemning half of Europe to slave under communist Rule. And as president, he did the same again in Korea, seizing defeat from the jaws of victory, blocking General Ridgway from retaking all of Korea. That he was ready at the drop of the hat, to betray his own VP, for political expediency is not surprising at all.

Great interviews, on substance. But the tech crew is absolutely disastrous, throughout the whole series! Even Nixon himself comments, how ridiculously annoying they are.

This is such a more interesting interview than that Frost interview. The only thing I learned in that one is that Frost loves to hear himself talk....then he interrupts every hour or so to give a commentary 😅

I was a kid in the 70s so I grew up thinking he was essentially a bad man thanks to the media and pop culture. I really resent being made so ignorant for years. It was only later when I realized what kind of a statesman and man he was. And Watergate seems laughably misdemeanor compared to the corruption of Hillary Clinton, Biden, Obama and the bureaucrats and activist judges appointed by them.

THE DEMS, using the same law-fare tactics we see today used against Trump, basically staged a coup d'é·tat to replace Nixon (elected in a landslide in 1972) with the hapless Jimmy Carter. How did that work out? Carter overthrew the Shah of Iran, a true friend of America, and installed the communist-backed Islamic despot regime. He gave away the American built Panama Cannel, which is now run by the Chinese Communist Party. Not to mention trashing the economy, igniting runaway inflation. Sound familiar?

What if remembering someone after death, keeps them bound? That only when one is completely forgotten, is one truly free. Well if that would be the case, I guess patience is still a problem on both sides. Don't ask. I'm usually wrong .

I was 5 years old when this film premiered and of course my parents went to see it, but didn`t allow me to see it. But i remember everybody was talking about this film and i saw the TV spots and magazine articles about it. This film was one of the earliest blockbusters. The first Omen film i got to watch was Damien Omen II in beta max at my home several years later, the same year The Final Conflic premiere.

Kinski disgusts me as child abusers ought to much as I respect Horzog or the Vampire genre I will not give Klaus my attention. Mask of Satan by Mario Bravias with "daughter of the house of Vajda" will remain my preference and Bela Lugosi with his Hungarian accent as discussed actual and authentic best for me always. Don't ask me an actual "Vajda" to respect filth like Klaus. I will not in any century or language.

This was from a time when intellect and excellence was revered(whereas today mediocrity and being average is one’s “goal” in life)and not only in the speaker but in the attendees it is instantly noticeable that the audience is a cross section of minds insatiable for knowledge rather than today in 2024 we have minds that are simply lazy, self centred and hedonistic Today we have a dumbed dumb society wherein stupidity and slovenly attire and boring topics of petty street crime criminality and or carnal base desires is revered in our ostensible “music” is purposely being peddled by the capitalist system as per a stupid, lethargic, slovenly uneducated uniformed public is malleable
