Hi
I have always been fascinated by the limitless potential of creating all sorts of art using all sorts of technology. From music with synthesizers and computers to digital art, photography, and video, technology breaks us free from the creative limitations posed by many mediums, and allows anyone with an artistic vision to create.

I'm no expert. I'm a voyager. A lifelong learner, and lover of exploration of all things artistic.

I love to make and perform music with synthesizers, sequencers, drum machines, and computers. I love to create videos and photos and use them in the creation of original digital art. I love to learn about how others are using technology to create their own unique art. I hope some of this rubs off on you through my videos.

Thank you so much for taking your valuable time to join me in this technological artistic journey, and I love to hear from you about your journey.

CHEERS!
Eric

BTW, I just read the manual about the Bass Mono topic with the Golden Master. They say: Yet another important use of Mid/Side is to make the bass mono. It’s sort of an unwritten law that low-frequency instruments like bass guitar, kick drum, synth bass, should stay in the center of a stereo mix. Otherwise with the wide stereo image they may be self-canceled or simply lost in the speakers. On the GOLDEN MASTER Pedal the middle channel is being extracted and subtracted from the left and right channels of each band. The more you turn the knob CW from the center, the more side information is left in the channels. When the knob is turned CCW from the center, the stereo image will gradually become more mono.

Tip for pobres o latinos: a dist pedal is cheaper than an Analog Heat. I use a Tube Pilot for the Octa and a Grand Magnus for the Syntakt. I love them. So cheap you can buy two for stereo.

Good options for distortion for sure.

Hi. I just see your settings on the Battery Ram kick module. Actually I bought it because you raved about it so much. For my taste, I love fat beefy but kind of soft (not to much distorted) kicks, I always have to have Gate on. And that I use 50 gates from Oxi one. Without the gate I'm missing some body. I thought the gate is more for bass lines. Just wondering

Hi! Not sure why that would be. I use only the trigger setting because when I use the gate it makes things way to wide, overpowers and distorts. Using the green level of drive at about 2:00, decay also about 2:00, middle depth, click in the middle and tune way down gets me deep fat kicks. So deep in fact I don't get some of the low end unless listening on good speakers or headphones that go solidly down in the 40htz range. Do you have the velocity up on your OXI One? I default that to max. Have you adjusted the overall volume level of the Battering Ram? It may be low. Curious to hear if anything works.

Ah. Thanks. I‘ll try tonight. Maybe I just have to make it much louder ;-) I just thought it could be the crossover frequency of my subwoofer. I have it a little on the mellow side (quite) because of my neighbors. But after all, I already love it. It‘s so important to have a solid kick running making techno 😍
