  Rumor has it that those people who are bad at ironmanning have managed a monopoly on Advance Wars content thanks to the Advance Wars communities being corrupt beyond belief. Because according to the Advance Wars communities, assaulting and violating a woman at cross country convention, as well as inciting catfighting and degenerate competition between women doesn't outweigh...........I'm sorry, what do those people bad at ironmanning have anyway? Nothing of true value, I know that much.

  Honestly why not use 3 healers, theyre free, they just DO stuff every turn, you dont need more combat units competing for exp, you can just make your army immortal by training staff units

  Fun fact: base Gilliam rescuing anyone has 1 Speed, which is good enough to get doubled by boats in chapter 10 ephraim route. Great cursed way to get a secret book. Also “hot take” (not really): Fly utility Vanessa > actually trying to fight anything with her.

  I'm finishing a run where my Eirika promoted at level 20 with 17 strength and no energy rings. I think the first str point she missed was at level 10. I couldn't believe my eyes, she just didn't stop. And Ephraim was still stronger lol

  Hey not sure if anyone has made this comment, but there's an Action Replay code you can add that re-enables enemy ranges for hardmode. No modding or fancy stuff required, a simple copy paste into dolphin.

  Disagree with the Zihark demotion/Mia promotion. Being one of the few good units on the DB makes Zihark more essential than Mia, not less. Mia gets more chapters in part 3 to grow, but she's usually competing with the best units in the game for slots on the map and EXP while Zihark is competing against children.

  The biggest thing about Naesala, and why he feels (and largely is) worse than the other royals isn’t really that his stats are worse, it’s that he has S rank strike at base instead of SS like all the other royals. If you use him extensively in 4-P and 4-3, which you probably should, he can hit SS strike at which point he performs just as well as all the other royals in the tower. Being able to double auras without white tide is nice, especially in limited settings like draft or iron man, so he’s worth the investment overall.

  I always save bexp for oliver, he caps every stat if you put it all in him.. Free healer with no investment for endgame is good no matter what, he is legit good in tower even without bexp LOL

  The cost of Dark tomes is why you'd use Thunder tomes with Pelleas; a forged Thunder tome that you make ahead of his joining and then trade to him helps his accuracy in 4-2 too.

  Here's a fun thing to do with Skrimir, in 4-P. He can bait over one of the enemies to the north to attack him while untransformed. He'll take just enough damage to be in resolve range. Have him transform turn-2, and you have resolve-Skrimir for the rest of the chapter, and he probably won't need any healing. Just keep him away from magic. I don't recall there being a similar position in 4-3; but there are plenty of mages he can bait, transformed or not, so it's easy to get him in resolve-range there.

  You’re right about stillness, it makes it so you only get attacked if you’re literally the only target available, definitely nice on Micaiah I just wish it could go on your heron. It’s embarrassing to admit how I know this but Bastian still has to pay Volke’s 3k gold fee, and Volke just disappears if you try and recruit him without the gold lol. The conversation is pretty funny though. Volke deserves a shoutout from me for being able to one turn 4-5 with a double rescue since unlike Tibarn he can attack Izuka without clearing out his human shield of feral ones. I actually believe Naesala is better than Tibarn because of 4-5 being so damn easy. Obviously Tibarn’s stats are better but Naesala just stands out more in his second chapter than Tibarn. The reason Naesala feels weak initially is because he’s actually the only royal who doesn’t have SS strike, he just has S. So if you just let him get a bunch of strike rank in part 4 by tossing him into clumps of enemies he’ll be stronger than Nailah, and pretty close to Tibarn when they’re in the tower. Though Nailah does have that part 1 availability. Renning is solid in 0% growths thanks to his ability to use the wrymslayer and especially the hammer. Glad you put some respect on his name because I feel like most people never try him which is a shame. Giffca’s higher speed actually let’s him double Sephiran unlike Caineghis, and he can even double auras with a speedwing from 3-9. However this is a long time to hold onto a speedwing and when I tried it Haar really suffered in part 4, just something to note. Caineghis has the advantage of attacking turn 1 however, so I agree with your placement, just tossing some more info in. I don’t think there should be an entire tier between Gareth and Ena, they basically have the same utility. The only time you really need blood tide in the tower is for Dheginsea and especially Ashera, Ena is definitely better but not by a whole tier. And by that logic Nasir is above Ena due to how much better white pool is than blood tide. When availability is this, low the difference in the final chapter is pretty huge. I’ve actually never used Tanith… ever lol, so I’ll take your word for that one. I know she’s really good in the normal mode speedrun. Yeah Tauroneo’s defense is really bad for how high level he is and what his class should be good at, Jill and Nolan will have higher defense along with better offense and mobility in part 3. It’s just easy to miss because of when he joins, it’s amazing in 1-6. Man well done on this, Radiant Dawn tier lists are such a mess because of how availability works but you were pretty on the mark. I don’t see a single person on the list I’d move by more than 1 tier. Glad I found your channel through this series

  I think Tormod is still way too low. He’s basically the Volke of part 1. He doubles everything and always at least nearly ORKOs. He’s definitely a better endgame pick than most of the DB scrubs that you’re babying

  I do think you kind of explained yourself why I don't think Mia's super great, she's definitely better than the scrubs at the bottom but a unit who's constantly relying on low to mid rng chances to ... do things as good as the others do at base with no rng procs involved (obviously besides hit) I can't see her being higher than C. We got on Boyd's case for being very luck dependent to get going and be good, so I don't see why Mia should realistically be treated too much different (better than Boyd though, top of C). It's easier to make her good than him but it's still a LOT of rng involved all the time. Good series of videos though!!!

  I would be curious to see how transfer bonuses would affect things, if anything. It feels like some characters would greatly benefit from getting some boosts (Jill, Nephenee) whereas for some characters it only really affects how early you can start bonus XP abusing (Ike, Mia, Soren), and for some characters it just simply doesn't do enough to save them (Ilyana, Mist, Rhys).

  If you have POR transfers with giffca selected, would argue giffca is better than lion king due to having higher speed and coming with the strength transfer, but otherwise same unit.

  Unfortunately you may be missing the point of provoke on Shinon. Provoke works on a priority based system. If Mist is next to Shinon, he will get attacked at one range before her. But if you had provoke on Gatrie, Mist would be attacked instead. The game checks for; whether it can kill, deal good damage, whether it dies, takes damage or a counterattack. It's not foolproof, but the general idea is that it's actually fantastic on Shinon for redirecting units. This doesn't mean it's bad on Gatrie, not at all. Of course Shinon has no enemy phase (outside crossbows) so, if you want provoke to be useful in enemy phase for more than misdirection, having it on Gatrie whilst he's next to other units like Titania and Ike, would make all of the enemies attack him for fear of the counters from the other two. It's interesting. It is the same way shade and stillness works but in reverse. Stillness negates the priority however, and just makes it impossible for said unit to be attacked unless that unit is the only one who can be.

  I surprisingly agree with most of these placements. L'aRachel is perhaps the only character I wouldn't have tierd as you did. Not great of course, but staff utility is always useful. Unfortunately, I think it's largely a romanticized opinion that you don't need staves in Sacred Stones, or don't need as many. Hard mode FE8 will still damage even Seth. Granted, it's obviously not the hardest game in the series, of course. But staves are still good. I do agree that it is heavily annoying that her level is bad, and that she joins so late being an important member of the game's story roster.

  The FE6 Randomizer I'm using here is the Yune Randomizer - forums.serenesforest.net/topic/90844-yune-randomizer-a-universal-fire-emblem-randomizer/ You might have downloaded the FE6 self-randomizing ROM which is more recent, so palettes and stuff might be different. Don't have much experience using it so I couldn't say for sure. feuniverse.us/t/fe6-self-randomizing-rom-complete/24920 - Self Randomizer in case it helps. Hope this helped in some way.

  I do think arthur and lute are just a little underrated I think they are so crucial as usually your only magic users for most of the game. Cavs rule the early game, fliers are the gods of late game but they are so good in the midgame. They're usually to fast to ever get doubled so they can always take a hit. Lute especially as a mage knight is a great mobile healer and you get excaliber pretty early to oneshot fast enemies. They also have a very useful support with each other who arthur especially benefits a lot from.
