Hi, my name is Sam and welcome to my channel.
I've created this channel to pay homage to some of my favorite punk rock bands and songs from the 90's. I do my best to capture the original recording guitar tones of the songs I cover by using a combination of different amps, guitars and pedals.
As a creative I want to combine the three things that I am most passionate about; music, photography and video. I know this channel will continue to expand but for now I am having a lot of fun shooting these videos and keeping the creative juices flowing.
If you got a song in mind and wish for me to cover, send me an e-mail or a comment and I will gladly work on that cover for you. Keep in mind that most of the songs I will feature on this channel are within that 90's period, it might be limiting but that's the gist of the channel after all. I will throw a newer song from time to time.
Thanks a lot for watching and please subscribe if you enjoy the content of this channel.

YOO MY FAV GREEN DAY SONG :D NICE COVER MAN <3
A very clean cover! Good job! 😀
This song takes me back to when I was 4.
Awesome man!!!! Well played!! 🤘🤘
Thank you, my friend!
Hearing this song instantly transports me 30 years. Excellent cover man. You sound great
Thanks! I know the feeling, every time I play these songs they always take me back. Cheers 🥃
Dookie is my favorite album from Green Day. I love to play the whole album everytime I use my guitar. thanks to this video I learn the "solo" part :)
Such a gem of an album. Cheers 🥃
Tone-setting master, my friend! Congrats!
Thanks, Jimmy. I liked the tone I got for this one.
Sounds so good!! Much love, man❤❤
Thank you, my friend! ❤️
Damn you really nailed the nuances of this, best cover I’ve seen of it. Nice work man!
Thank you! I liked how it came out. Cheers 🥃
Hey ! Wondering... Do you plan to do some Clash covers ? I know it's a bit older than what your channels says but it would be cool ! (I think)
I didn’t grow up listening to the Clash but they are one of the greatest of their time. I’ll take a listen to their catalog and see what I can do. Cheers 🥃
@@90sPunkRockCovers Cheers !
Well done as usual
Thank you, my friend!
So cool 🎉
Always nailed your tone. Really nice to hear you play everytime 🔥🔥🤘💙
Glad you enjoy it!
Love watching these, great stuff
Glad you like them!
Great work with IR's, your tone sounded really good! Very "strato". I recorded this one yesterday, soon in my channel too. 🤟
Rock on!
Great song! Your guitar here sounds perfect for Dookie.
Glad you like it my friend. Cheers 🥃
I love the mini solo at 1:10
💪🏼
Great cover. This song is very poignant.
Thank you. This is one of my favorite records. Cheers 🥃
That sizzle is amazing. Clean tube sizzle.
It does have a lot of sizzle, very different amp than anything else I own.
This cover is pure perfection!!
Glad you think so, my friend. Cheers 🥃
Can u be monetized with making instrumental covers of famous band's songs if it's actually not copyright?
99% of the songs I cover are copyrighted so no, I don’t make any movie from them. The other 1% are shared revenue and I make pennies per play.
@@90sPunkRockCovers I heard that it's not just that u don't get paid with copyright, but yt can also demonetize your channel very quickly.
@@VerebelyiSandor I have no idea about that, man.
Home Grown is back!
Yes! Glad they are playing shows together again.
Enema and TOYP are bigger, but Dude Ranch may be Blink at their most pop punk
Agreed. Sonically, I think Enema is Blink's best sounding, best produced and most memorable album in terms of music. I still love Dude Ranch because it was the album that made me fall in love with the band. I discovered them through Cheshire Cat and I love that album as well but Dude Ranch just spoke to me. Cheers 🍻
Nostalgia 😅
😊
Good
Thanks.
Liked! I bought a pre-owned M 246 in 2018, after I had fumbled and dropped my then-still-new M10. (My M10, strap and all, had been wrapped inside a thin neoprene wrap, as I climbed into our truck, when it fell.) I was so depressed, about bricking my M10, that I thought about selling my one M lens, and getting out of the Leica system, but, the M 246 enabled me to “get back onto the horse that had thrown me,” and continue using the M system, until my M10 was repaired. I soon added a Leica Elmarit-R 28mm, an R-to-M adapter, and an orange filter, then fell in love with “Mono-Chroming,” using the distance scale to focus. I use the rangefinder to focus 35mm, 50mm, and longer lenses, but using the Distance and DOF scales works nicely with 28mm and wider-angle lenses. In early 2021, and then again in early 2022, I strongly considered “upgrading” to the M10 Monochrom, but, each time, decided to remain faithful to my original M10 and my M 246 Monochrom. 24MP is enough, for what I do with the Leica system. My wife and I have higher-MP DSLRs for her “citizen scientist” activities; I am second photographer and pack mule. I reckon that there is no sensible reason, for me, to acquire a 40MP+ M camera, for my personal creative shooting. (Of course, others’ needs will vary, from mine. I am not saying what anyone else should buy and use.) Another reason I am keeping my original M10 and M 246 cameras, is because I have tended to prioritize lenses. By not buying an M10 Monochrom in early 2022, I was able to acquire my pre-owned APO Summicron-M 75mm ASPH and Elmar-M 24mm ASPH. The APO 75 is like-able enough, whereas I truly love the Elmar-M 24. I had never cared much for the 24mm focal length, until I decided to try the Elmar-M 24. Had I bought an M10 Monochrom, I would probably never have known or appreciated the Elmar-M 24. I have liked the effect of dark yellow and light/medium orange filters. I have taken a few test shots with a true Infrared filter, which requires using a tripod. Next, I plan to order some near-Infrared filters, R72 or IR 720, to experiment with hand-held shooting, on really bright days.
Well-done! Liked, and subscribed. I actually saw your more-recent m 246 video, before this one.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed both videos. And thank you for subbing, I appreciate it.
Great review. The problem with dust on sensor was solved on qp?
Thank you! No, same issue. I always kept a small piece of gaffer tape to cover the microphone holes and never had an issue with dust.
@@90sPunkRockCovers such a shame for this pice of jewel .Have an option for a CL but not sure if has the same iq. Or even an nikon zf for same amount of money
Ah man this is such a great track. I'd love to see you do some Long Walk covers but i think all those songs need both guitar parts. They were so talented and ahead of their time
Definitely ahead of their time, very intricate guitar parts with awesome melodies. I’ll cover more of them in the future. Cheers 🥃.
Sickkk 🔥
Thank you.
