  sorry i dont understand what you're asking. to add a midi clip in ableton you select an area and press cmd+shift+m, and then you can draw midi notes inside the clip

  i dont think i understand exactly, but to get FL studio you need to buy it on image line's website, and to get the reason rack plugin you need to buy reason (or simply rent the plugin) on reason studio

  thanks dude! good for you for wanting to start! you should start by choosing a DAW (depending on your budget i would recommend FL studio or Ableton), download a few samples packs to have some drums, and download one or 2 vsts (instruments) - in this video I used Serum, but a really powerful one that is free is Vital (i'll make videos using vital soon). Then just start playing around and watch videos - you can get in contact with me via discord and i'll be happy to help further

  @@qsmfoui ah thanks for letting me know! i'll update it. yea recreating something you have in mind is the hard part, but you should approach it differently, instead of recreating what you have in mind, just create a random sound that you like and go from there - when you get more experience you can definitely build a drop around it

  in this case i added it because it adds some sort of delay to the sound making it a bit off grid, it also beefs up the low end a bit. In the more technicals i don't exactly know what it does other than it's basically an all pass filter

  @@anthonytamez170 It delays harmonics instead of the whole audio file as frames, essentially it’s creating a sweep like how an audio laser works, the harmonics sweep down in pitch delayed slightly or greatly in time. It does so using a crossover filter called an all pass that is essentially the wall that multiband processors use with a steep decay in order to split bands. To do this it requires to flip the phase on each side of the filter, the delay is created by the slope on each side of the filter and delay position is where you place it on the spectrum, increasing the amount on disperser specifically add more all pass filters to the spectrum and increases the delay spread by twisting the phase of the spectrum like a rope. As a side note the reason why I love pro-mb is that it has linear mode so it can attempt to re align the phasing created by its band splits allowing for a fairly phase clean side chain method.
