  If someone else had noticed hallucinating effects, then Vault mightve taken an interest in the chem market and with nicer facilities, managed to produce rhe more potent Jets on the east coast. Of course, this is merely an attempt to world fix

  When it come in game for the states the game take place in . Lot of them being around i leave it up to game mechanic's and them being scraped by the player for resources. Pipe like guns before the war i could see them being made to a factory quality depending on the resources at hand at the time. As these guns just need to be good enough and pratical enough for the state the USA was in then. As one can look at some old gun designs in the wild west and even the known Sten gun in WW2 . Those guns may not look pretty but they did their job very well when it form and function over visual looks . With the politic's of the state's were in then dealing with communist and political descendents such guns like pipe guns would of been around but not in the numbers as in game. As the game never touch on firearm laws in game it is hard to say what was illegal or needed a license pre-war in America. For lot of pipe gun desing i would think they came to be at a certain point when factory made guns become rarer or harder to maintain . I could see a skill engineer using a exsisting gun and making functional parts not to a factory level quality . As in the wasteland there is alot of scrap and metal to make these guns using other as templates for a crude version of the gun . As the pipe revolver share alot of traits with other revolvers while lack some upgrade options . Even in the Fallout TRPG mention they are cheap gun for people who can't find or buy a good quality gun .

  i can’t get the gta 5 file i downloaded it on epic games but still can acces it from rockstar games and am signed into rockstar games aswell but when i go into program files and rockstar games it just says social club and not just gta 5

  Regarding independent discovery by vault dwellers as an explanation for the presence of Jet in Vaults - Myron was a smart kid, but he was still ultimately very much an amateur. Maybe he needed a hundred sacrifices to figure out the formula. But, who's to say that a properly trained Vault-tec pharmacologist couldn't get the formula right (or at least right enough for non-suicidal human testing) using rats and other test animals?

  My conclusion on it is that it existed before the war to some extent, saw limited use for awhile after, and was eventually strengthened and refined to what we know today (whether that be by Myron or another source). It seems to be a pretty obvious stand in for meth/crack (one of which would have existed irl during the rough time span leading to the war). I mean when you consider that even Myron himself dies and is forgotten about as the creator of jet kind of shows how easily any real history could be lost in the wasteland (including any original formula/evidence for pre-war jet aside from the substance itself)

  Pet theory is that Proto-Jet was a pre-war designee drug that was juuuuust starting to get developed (probably by VaultTec) but never finished its dev cycle. Some folks dotted around the map had early access to this new drug but it was far from mainstream or in the public zeitgeist. Then the war and information regarding it is buried. Then Myron discovers some of the data and the protojet itself and finishes the development solo. This explains his vehement statmenr that HE made it. Because he did. It was just a weak prototype from his perspective and he made it and he did. After jet became big it became the standard word for all drugs of this type and thus any similar drugs including the prewar protojet are simply referred to by the game and the inworld population as jet because why bother disdinguishing? Bishop likely was a methhead of some description in Vault City but afterwards the distinction was both irrelevant(she was a methead ok so meth is like jet but not as good so imagine jet but not...imagine that dialogue in a game or even irl every time the stoey gets told.) And legit forgotten about. Prewar jet would just be leftover protojet or other inhalentamphetamines.

  It's not a Jet lore problem. Myron is a LIAR as kids always are. Every kid is guilty of lying in this way to try to impress others, that's just part of growing up. Problem solved. Anyone who believed him and thought this established the source of Jet in the lore is a fool. Just because a character says something does not mean it is true.

  Yah bruh, no way someone stumbles on an amphetamine by decomposing matter. All drugs that are amphetamines would never be created from exrement. Thats the biggest joke ive ever heard in my life. It would be like saying you created a beer feom a baseball. "Mmm that leather sure makes for some good hopps this time of year". Dude this is just stupid argument all the way around. First that someone created an amphetamine out of a magical creatures poo, and second that people want to argue about this piece of fiction. Get some lives whoever argues over this.

  In fallout 4, there is a prewar terminal in Sanctuary where it has log entries about selling drugs (jet, psycho, day tripper, etc.) to his neighbors.
