Most boring race or most boring video

As a Jeff Burton fan, I obviously am biased on this race, but I’m ok with it being ‘boring’ as it was made safer for the drivers. Another of Burtons wins that was a rain shortened race, I believe happened at Darlington some years before I think 1999, could also be challenged as ‘boring’, but I liked that one as well.

Great video...absolutely riveting. As a kid growing up in the late 60's and early 70's, I thought the lack of safety in F1 was insane...but this is another level! Small wonder cars would tip over...they appear eight feet tall, on inch wide, tires...and the whole splinter issue is hard to imagine... At least the helmets kept their hair in place...

This race was definitely boring, but I'm not sure it was even the most boring of the 2000 season honestly. The Daytona 500 (and really all of speedweeks, outside of the trucks and Bodine's crash) were absolute stinkers.

G'day, I did the Richard Petty Driving Experience twice and Gary was my instructor both times. I really enjoyed both trips there as we were at Disney anyway and my wife insisted I give it a try. Gary gave me friendly grief as I was a long time drag racer and he told me not to forget to turn at the end of each straight. During my pitstop I was told that I was doing extremely well and the car was running full tune. I lapped the other guy on the track 4 times the first time I was there but wasn't quite as fast the next year. It was fun.

I’m confused … you state that in 2011 she began the season “much of the same for Danica (as 20100), before pivoting and listing her much improved results. “Much more competitive.” Etc. Huh? “We won’t be too harsh on her, but …?” The very title of your video suggests the opposite. Looking forward to your next video about a male driver who struggled.

I remember watching this. Wasn't the most boring I've ever seen. At least there was still wrecks and some passing and comers and goers. The 2022 Martinsville spring race was up there for most boring ever though. Been to the Brickyard may times and theres been some super boring races there as well like 2008 ( boring but would become infamous after) 2009 2012 2015 2016 etc. Also, not in my time but imagine how bad it was in the old days with guys like Petty, Pearson, Ned Jarrett etc lapping the field.

"hard to pass" is pretty much the description for every race at New Hampshire. It's an awful track and I'm not sure why they continue to race there.

I am happy that he is going strong. I myself was addicted to pills and cocain. The denial part he mentioned is what will really destroy you. Once you addmit you have a problem is when you can get help. If anyone reading this post knows someone with an addiction please don't kick them to the curb. Because with help they can recover. I have been clean since 1992. Their is always hope.

First off, thr side oiler ruled all racing that it was permitted in the 60s. Even Petty has a championship in a Ford. Your BS about that is just pure dumb. Then - Jesus man, I knew Ronnie was a great president, I mean, I voted for the man. But I had no idea he was president from 1956 to 1988! Fran Tarkington would say THAT'S INCREDIBLE! You REALLY need to get your facts straight. Other videos you have made are equally questionable. I think i will avoid them.

You are 100% correct that ALL of the cars had a rear view camera! In the footage that you include in this very video, the Broadcast footage shows them switching fron "in-car" to "front view" of each driver one by one. And if they All had "in-car" and "F.V." why would Only Kyle be the only one with "Rear View"???

I disagree 100%. This was not the most boring race In nascar history. If you’re measuring it lead changes. Then yes. But there was clearly action on track. Crashes close pit stops, There was battles for the lead just no actual lead changes. If you need a better example of a boring race, the year Martin Truex almost led the entire coke 600. That was awful. How about 2021 at Pocono when Kyle Busch won, worst race I’ve ever attended. Basically any time nascar goes to a shirt track anymore…..zzzzzz I’d give to see a race like this one again.

Janet Guthrie was a FAR better driver than Danica. Janet simply had no help like Danica did, but she was 10x the driver. Janet only raced 33 Cup races and had 5 top 10's, 14 top 15's, and never had top-flite equipment. Danica ran 191 Cup races with only 7 top 10's, 17 top 15's, while having the best of the best and top sponsorship to boot. Danica wasn't even close to being as good a driver as Janet Guthrie. So she might be the "most successful" because she got to run a lot of races and got a pole, but that's about it. Richard Petty was right.
