To this day, I'm in love with Brandon. Why do guys, such intelligent, good people, have to die like this? 😢 I discovered this film through my father when I was a child. I was scared, but today it became my favorite film of all. I don't think a remake was necessary, it never was... This film is Brandon's legacy. My type of man has always been like him and only today I know this. I love this movie so much it hurts. I hope with all my heart that Brandon is okay. 😢

The Hip were the soundtrack to my youth. Lucky to have seen them in '91, '93, '99 and on their farewell tour in Vancouver in 2016. The farewell tour show was a spiritual experience. RIP Gord Downie. Gone way too soon.

I wish he's young again. I wish Carrie is still around. Even Mark looks like he might go before Harrison nowadays. Those 3 were and still r my power trio. No one did it better than them. May the Force be with them and may flights of angels sing thee to thy rest, sweet Princess Leia.

First time I’ve see this. I became a Hip fan after moving to northern NY in 1991. I’d hear them on the radio as I drove to/from work. Wondered who this band is putting out great music I had never heard. Saw them play quite a few times over the years; last time in 2015 in Buffalo. Tried to go to the last show in Kingston but couldn’t get tickets. It was so sad knowing I’d never see them play again. End of the Hip era.

I didn't realize Gord was so vocally obtuse about the lyrics in interviews. Despite the clips shown here, there is a definite person and subject being referenced. Gord and I both knew him.
