I don't happen to have one of these hats handy (this video is almost 5 years old). I base all my sizing on this hat sizing chart: sheepishlysharing.com/2017/01/23/hat-sizing-chart/ simply make sure your gauge is matching the flat circle diameter. Adjust your hook size or tension accordingly.

Some great ideas here! I was previously using a long weight bench seat pad over my treadmill (before we set up & were actually using the weight bench😅💪🏻) but now we've set it up and I have no more pad for my treadmill LOL. So, thanks for your ideas I will be using these now❤

Margaret, thanks so much for your very clear video how to avoid or learn "how to" maneuver the yarn in the M. Loop. My biggest problem was tangling the yarn inside of the loop..grrrr By you teaching to hold the yard in the middle and pull back, it alleviated that problem. I'm subscribing! Thanks again.

Get some heel weights like we use with antique sock knitting machines. They are forks with bent tines and fishing weights attached to the stem. Works perfectly! You can also use canned foods as weights.

I polish the circular knitting machine with 100% silicone. As soon as it starts dropping stitches, I polish it again. I take an extremely thin layer, two pea sized amount of silicon on two fingers, then I rub it gently on the two sides of the needle that face me, and the top. I also polish the rounded part of the side walls between the needles, that the yarn slides down.

This was a GREAT video! I'm not really sure why it just now appeared for me; but it's very helpful. Thank you for sharing! I've been toying with the idea of a dream box and wondering if it might actually fit inside a bare closet that I have, and then open into the room as needed. After watching your video, I've measured and re-measured; and ultimately, I think it would fit inside the empty closet (which no longer has the sliding doors). I just wouldn't be able to fully open it to flat. I think it would still work; so it's back on my "wish" list for my craft room. I sew occasionally, use my Cricut maker often, have a passion for Young Living essential oils, and love to oil paint. I know - jack of all trades and master of none. Ha! However, I can see how this Dream box could help me all around and how the time and labor spent on trying to create my own wouldn't be as cost effective. Thank you again!

There are a lot of people out there who say SKEEN , like in New Zealand and Australia, so both pronunciations are acceptable. If your clever and thoughtful (and handsome) husband wants to say skeen, it's ALL RIGHT. 😘😘😘 This video was great, thank you so much. I'm subscribing.

Do knots in yarn have trouble getting to go through.?
@sheepishlysharing3 ай бұрын
Yes. Since you’re holding the yarn in your left hand as it feeds through, you’ll feel the knot before it gets to the feeder. I’ll open the feeder, release the yarn and crank slowly until the knot passes the feeder. The put yarn back in feeder and resume.

Thank you for this, i have just brought a second hand treadmill online and while I think I will set up my diy desk a little differently, as I want to have a larger monitor or multiple monitors (I work in IT and usually like to have at least two screens on the go otherwise it limits my efficiency), this has given me some great starting ideas. For me I am going to try using the wooden area you have as a place to put a wireless keyboard and mouse and then probably put my laptop on a shelf behind the treadmill and set up the monitors behind it as well, so I have the screens at eye height but the keyboard at the right height for my arms. I do think you would need a laptop stand which goes a lot higher than the amazon one you mentioned, if you wanted to have a laptop on a standard sitting height desk at an appropriate height for standing, especially if you are taller. Maybe one of those ones which have the zigzag arms on them and raise things up to a foot or so... Some very simple but good ideas here. Thanks.

That sounds like a great solution for adding those monitors. As you work with it, you'll get a better idea of what you need and how to fix it. It's 2024 now and there are even more options out there!
