    Oh Margaret you are not the only one who is so easily distracted! I can get my crafting area into such a mess and then I can't stand it anymore and I will clean it up! But that only lasts a short time because then I want to start creating again and, well you know, it gets messy again! Lol. I love that blanket and I think I really like the blue on the green tassels! I always keep pen and paper handy when watching videos because I don't want to forget looking up something later that has been mentioned.....i.e. Keto cinnamon sugar muffins, Katrinkles among other things. Enjoyed this video and seeing what you have been working on or intend to work on! Your fur baby is so cute! Thank you for letting me hang out with you!

    I'm so happy to have people to share this stuff with, Diane! You really "get it!" I think mess is simply the process of creating. While I'm doing something, I need to stay on track and that may mean leaving something where I put it down because I'm so focused on what I'm doing. The INTENT is to go back and put it away later but... well... you know how that goes!

    What a fun video! I really enjoyed keeping you company while you cleaned your table. I think if you do a deep dive into Katrinkle's, you'll find that Katy pays her employees a living wage, locally resources the woods she uses, & has a very active recycling program in place for her scraps. I'm lucky enough to be able to see her in person at the fiber festivals around here, & she's very personable & interesting to talk to. Lastly, usually I'd say go with the multiple colors on the tassels, but you're right, the blue is better because there IS a lot going on 🌈

You hold your phone up besides the group of stars in the sky, and it will show you the name of the constellations or stars. Try it out. I have the exact Mandala cakes and couldn't figure out what to do with them also. I may just do a baby blanket too, with a little color control. Of course, I always look to see if the Buzzy painting is still on display. That really makes me feel like I am there with you. Hugs, Margaret.

    I have to clean up all the yarn clutter around my chair every week or I have a WIP slide 🙄 There are times when every inch of our flat surfaces is covered with my crafty stuffs 😬 EVERY FLAT SURFACE 😳 I just came across the yarn from your Knitcrate - I gave it a nice squish and generally molested it 🤗 The yarn definitely tells me what it wants to be . When I am uncertain about whether to finish or frog , I put it in a place I can see it throughout the day . After a day or so I know. Grey is my mom's favorite color . There are so many shades to choose from , making it a great neutral . I save both ribbon, velcro and anything else that can be reused .

    It was fun joining you as you decluttered your table! About those ribbons with velcro attached ... I have found a wonderful use for them. I keep fabric folded in storage bins. I fold the fabric and set it on end instead of stacking from the bottom up. (Makes it easier to see everything.) Because I want to maximize space, I take a cardboard box (the shallow ones) which canned goods sit in at the store, to make a floor for a second layer. I wrap the velcro ribbons around the box, one on each end, to form handles, making lifting the top layer much easier.

    We are two types of keto in my family, clean and dirty. There is a super website we are really enjoying called Seriously Keto. The podcaster has introduced us to a whole world of new keto recipes that are not cauliflower or cheese. We have 'chaffles' that we use as bread for sandwiches, we've learnt to make crackers, dressings for salads, etc. It's really making keto more attractive for us...well me at any rate. Hubby has been able to decrease his insulin to very low levels and he has not been so grumpy because he has such a wider variety of foods to eat, now he's learnt a bit more about keto (he was Atkins years ago). Your craft room is like mine...things just get set down and forgotten about until everything is falling on the floor and I can't find the cats!

    Thanks, it was great ro see you again. I also have that cat pattern on Ravelry for ages and maybe we can do it together. I cleaned up my sewing crates today and managed to make one pencil cade in the end.. now back to granny squares in all kinds of red acrylic, using my stash. I am making a blanket for charity and will join 15 as I go and then decide how to continue. I will need 50 or 55 in total… I also have several projects and trying to finish one or teo before starting new ones.. but the struggle is real! I love all kinds of crochet… haha

    What a lovely compliment to wake up to today! Thank you! And yes... frugality is sort of a hobby of mine! Besides, it's good for the environment as I reduce my carbon footprint! Seriously! Somewhere in the last year or so, someone was telling me not to print patterns for environmental reasons but to read them on my phone with apps. I ended up taking you on a tour of all the things I do to reduce my carbon footprint! Down the rabbit hole!

    It's a cute pattern, isn't it?! I really need to look closely at it. I think I always put it aside because it seems so big. I need to see how many repeats it is and if I can turn it into a throw or something. Hmmm.....

    The blanket with the four little birds it’s beautiful 😍, am planing on making one but with different patterns on each side, like one side will be baby Mickey Mouse and the other side will be baby shark, a will be using a 20 peg knitting loom and will be making long tubes with the colors required for the patterns and joined them with a mattress stitch, am a loom knitter and also have the small addi, the 48 needle sentro and the 40 needle, but it won’t come out the way a wanted with neither machine, because of the two different patterns.

    You listed everything you showed in the video. Except that spinner at the end. Lazy Susan kind of thing. Where did you get it? I looked at every division in your Amazon shop. It wasn’t there! And thanks for that cat Afghan. I’m going to have to make it. Love your videos as always

    Ok, so here’s the big question…do you remember where you put everything?😂 Did everything end up in its home or is it still trying to get there?😂 Lastly, is your table still clean and beautiful? My small table gets filled up quickly.

  • @sheepishlysharing

    @sheepishlysharing

    THAT is a valid question, Verna!! Ha! But yes, I have "a place for everything and everything in its place" as my mother used to say. My problem is, I simply don't want to lose my focus to stop and put things away as I go but then I sort of forget to go back and do it later AND THEN the sight of the whole table is overwhelming and I don't want to tackle it! Right now, the table looks exactly like I left it which tells you I still haven't finished that blanket with the tassels. Ha!

    @@sheepishlysharing isn’t it amazing how much of our mother is in us? Sometimes it sneaks in without knowing it. And how many times have I said, ‘no dropping and running’, yet I still do it!😂😂
