Follow along and experience a series of camps, hunts, survival, preparation, bushcraft, catch and cooks, primitive and traditional tools, restoration, outdoor living and all things included & more. Sometimes set in urban hiding spots, other times in secluded national forests, but always alone & under the radar when I can be. Other times just doing the things we all want to do in the wild, and alone. I’m a sportsman, with a conscience, practice leave no trace, sometimes remaining unseen, having fun and filming my experiences are my main objectives.

Good kit. But can you talk? Most odd prepper presentation I’ve ever seen. And I’m not trying to be mean or an arse.
Thanks for watching. Yes I can talk. Glad you enjoyed
slick trick. very good idea on the life vest
Love the new vids man! That fish looked good!
Thank you. Stay tuned, I have a lot of footage from a few trips I havnt hand the chance to edit yet. But it’s coming.
Hey dude WHATS GOIMG ON HERE? Is it misfiring every time? There’s no way you have to cock it every time do you?
Hey. So I’m shooting CCI Quiet. It’s a super slow velocity, about 710FPS. Meant to be shot from a bolt action rifle. It doesn’t have enough power to cycle the slide, like a higher velocity ammo does. Normal velocity for 22LR is about 1200fps. This gun will cycle the slide with CCi Quiet Seni-Auto. Which runs at like 850FPS. Is cycles with any velocity ammo above that. But I was showing off how insanely quiet it can run, with the wrong ammo. Like a staple gun.
@@thequietcamper5499interesting, I'm having issues cycling 1070FPS and I even put in a lighter spring!
'PromoSM'
Unfortunately, we aren't responsible enough to own ARs in Connecticut. We aren't even allowed to buy body armor online. They do allow us 10 rounds in a hand gun magazine . Though aren't they kind
That sure is nice. I’m glad government isn’t overstepping.
@@thequietcamper5499 right. Fucking sucks
What's this song?
I got it off another vid. But I think you can find it under “ particles” slowed
it's sick
Effortless bump fire with the ALG
Excellent kit bro well thought out.
This is a great hunt you shoot really good. Squirrel season is open now please make more videos this video is nice.
Thanks! Please subscribe and I’ll keep them coming
I saw you subscribed 4 years ago. Thank you for that. I’m planning some duck hunts this season too.
Have you chrono'd these rounds? I assume you loaded them? This is a very interesting video.
I have chrono’d these. And no I didn’t hand load 22’s. It’s CCI quiet. They also make a load around 835fps called quiet-semi-auto which cycles this gun and other 22’s. Check out my other videos to hear the quiet’s out of a bolt gun.
@@thequietcamper5499 Thanks for the information. I'm extremely impressed with this video.
Found it unusual not to have a voice
Thanks. I’m getting a lot of that same feedback. Starting to talk more in my videos. Going by Quiet Camper… I was trying to focus more on the visual than someone staring into a camera endlessly talking. I get a lot of positive feedback as well, with people happy not to have someone jabbering on and on. But I think I should look for a middle ground. Thanks for the feedback. Please subscribe and I’ll do better. Mat.
Just subscribed, that should make 1000 for you.
Awesome thanks!
Great job!
Thank you! It was really fun to fix up. I also have re-finished a handful of full size blades, with the proper tools and jigs. I have the footage but haven’t gotten around to posting it in here. I will. Thanks for commenting and I hope if you don’t already, that you subscribe to help me keep putting videos like this out. Thanks again!

So which cigars do you stock DeNobili or Parodi?
More of a pipe tobacco guy.
Miss the videos man! Hope you’re doing well! Any videos in the works? Have a good one !
I have a bunch of footage from some camps, just haven’t had the time to put something together. I’ll put something out here soon. Thanks!!
I would add a few rolls of moleskin to the skin....because walking = blisters no matter how good you think your shoes and socks are. Sunblock lotion, bug spray, and or mosquito net. Great kit!
I love the new fully semi automatic single shot handguns….
Same!
Do you know which ALG PSA put in this?
ALG AKT-EL I believe.
My only question is why are you shooting by water tho?
It’s on a private island.
Wow great job man! Very nice!
Thanks!
That’s a lot of useful gear stored in a very small container well done
Thanks!
@@thequietcamper5499 you’re welcome
Nice gear
Video does a lot of justice but not just exactly what I was looking for. You give me your opinion, how well does the color of the light match the slide and stuff?
Thanks for the question. If I’m understanding correctly, you’re asking if the FDE color of the TLR is an exact match of the slide. No it’s not the exact same paint color. But, the FN’s slide and frame aren’t the exact same FDE either. And neither is the RMR. But as a whole, with all four slightly different FDE colors all on one platform, it looks really cool. I personally doubt I’d like/want a setup that was all 100% the exact same FDE across the platform. I think it would then look like a rattle-can job or something.
So quiet that all you hear is the bolt and the snap of the trigger.
I have the same rifle I use for small game hunting and I would love to have a suppressor! I just don't want to pay the $200 for the tax stamp and another $300 for the suppressor. In the end it would be about twice what I paid for the rifle.
Yea not to mention the wait times for a stamp. Buuuut it’s the game we have to pay to play. If you have multiple hosts, it makes more sense to spend the $
Not sure if you already have it or not but definitely get a suture kit with some some of medications since if you are in the field for a long time your blowout kit wont be as affective as you get into the following 24hours after being shot or sustaining a major injury like that
Wanna get this gun with the alg trigger but how do I avoid the pseudo full auto?
Get it. It’s easily my favorite range gun. If you keep a firm grip it won’t bump fire.
@@thequietcamper5499 appreciate it
Sorry, could not deal with the music and the smoking.
no extra bs, no weird intros, no unecessary shooting vids......just items and labels. This is it.
So….I’ve got 50% of what you’ve got in the video. I’ve watched this video at least 5 times. I often commute 2-3 hours between destinations so it’s time to get the other 50%. My thought is to keep this trunk secured in my truck. I suspect you do the same.
Nice. I keep my stuff locked away in the house, as permanent residence In my truck would be too risky for theft in my area. I also highly recommend testing/using your stuff. Go camping with it. Train with it. You may find certain items not as useful or sturdy or reliable as you may have hoped.
@@thequietcamper5499 yeah - I may keep a watered down Get Home bag with some of the same items. I’ve debated keeping a truck gun. I’m in a relatively low theft area “most” of the time. I transit between the mountains and the city. With the winter the risk/reward factor might be worth it. Appreciate the feedback.
I dig it I have one very very similar
Thanks! Good 👍
That’s loud as hell
It certainly isn’t silent. But hearing safe. And you can hear the major difference when the person a few lanes over starting shooting their 9mm un suppressed.
Suppressors aren’t like in the movies Unless you’re running subsonic ammo out of a mechanically quiet gun, suppressors will only help reduce the signature, not eliminate it

BAD ASS I TELL PEOPLE ABOUT THESE AKV AND NOBODY SEEM TO WANNA GIVE THEM A GO
Probably Bette that way!
you should add some kind chest rig better med kit shovel gas mask and filters and add at least magnifier for your rifle so you have longe range option and you can use it for hunting if you need to
Thanks for the comment!
Very complete. Very nicely done. Great idea to have one crate you can throw in a car or truck, and be ready to go. I love the way you have everything bagged and compatmentalized. I would add a Bic lighter to my fire kit just for simplicity sake. Great Job! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you.
Presented in an interesting fashion. Nice kit.

Thanks for making the video. I got idea's for my own organization and preparation. It's hard to stay flexible and adaptable when not certain of the damn future.
What angled fore grip are you using here?
Strike industries. Angled Vertical Grip with Cable Management short version
Oh sike, that’s what I have on the AR, in this vid, I have a BCM on the AKV
Nice, we need more videos like this
I've had pretty much the same idea, have been planning it for some time now, as far as weapons systems for me, 10 inch AR pistol, 5 inch M&P 9mm, SR 22 and Ruger 10/22 takedown, depending on the situation one of the two combo's are what would be carried and addition to it, helmet, body armor, battle belt system gas mask and some kind of night vision and thermal gear.
very little gain in performance
300BLK neck up 7.62x39mm Russ case
i question your choose of rifle caliber 300BLK?? why noy 5.56 x45mm nato or 7.62x51mm nato ammo will be hard to get in 300BLK nato is readily available in the U.S.A.,your 300BLK may not be just saying??? good luck dude
I have the capabilities to reload 5.56 brass, and make 300 blk myself. 30 caliber projectiles are more common, available and have a more diverse selection of grains/projectile type than 5.56. So I would argue that I have more access to ammunition then just having a 5.56. Further, I have 5.56’s. And I’ll if need to do is plop a 5.56 upper on this lower and it’s ready to go. Even more, all I would need to do is switch the barrel of my 300 blk and nothing else, to a 5.56 barrel and every other component of the 300 would work on the 5.56. Cheers, thanks for watching.
Further, I run this rifle subsonic most of the time. Because of the suppressor. Another benefit of 300. I can quickly and easily switch to supers and no need to adjust any gas or anything.
You’re having to haul around a lot of crap and I did say 5.56 NATO and 7.62 NATO also yeah I realise you can change out the AR uppers I would rather haul around ammo for both of my rifles then haul around uppers and reloading equipment for 5.56 NATO and 300 blackout Specially in a situation like SHTF Specially if you get in a firefight with somebody you’re not gonna be able to collect your brass
@@pcoldmanjustinrobertson2490 if we’re playing hypotheticals, then I’m not hauling anything and I’ll take a 5.56 from my fallen combatant and have both. Solved.
Good production value. Try doing a Urban Evasion vid. Story line: Due to political corruption the cost per gallon soars exponentially. panic buying starts, no gas - rolling blackouts, no medical supplies & Civil unrest starts. Your mission, get to a safe area in your city, bypass counter measures, occupy it & wait for your team to arrive. LET"S ROCK!!!!
