My first ever CD I bought for 21 dollars at the time, was vulgar display of power. The late 80's and early 90's. CD's were barely invented

Ultraspank has two great albums and then LoPro is a third album by the singer and guitarist. Give them a listen. They are seriously under rated and unknown.

Matey, now you opened up a deep rabbit hole. Courtney is the most fascinating frontwoman since Shirley Manson from Garbage, a total original performer. Try Secret Garden next and get your better half on it. It's a masterpiece (and this band always brings it on the video production too).

Downvoting for the chat. Haters aren't funny. Toxicity grows, and turns into full blown hate, which always needs an outlet. They might start out on a punching bag, but that won't contain it for long. Want something to blame for the violence we see in the world? Blame acceptance of hate and toxicity like this right here. Off the cuff nastiness for no other reason than because they can. Completely disassociating from the fact that behind screens are real people. Then it transitions to real life. Casual slurs, hateful words, just incorporated into their vocabulary. Then they have to back it up physically. Threats, fights, weapons, crime. It starts here. I won't be here again, I'm a metalhead, but this is DEFINITELY NOT my scene. Metal used to be about caring for each other and holding each other up when society pushed us down. Gatekeeping and toxicity has destroyed that.

@@tntsmetalmeltdown4148 your community is a reflection of you and what you accept. Get a mod or block them yourself. Hate is hate, regardless of what it's about. Hate grows. Today it's about music, tomorrow religion, next week race, and then everybody is screaming, but they did nothing to stop it from getting this far.

I feel like people criticise Risk The same way the criticise Load “it’s a terrible metal album it’s not even metal” yes they are not metal albums they’re not supposed to be that doesn’t mean their bad granted I can understand people not liking them Regardless I just think a lot of people dislike them unjustly.
