    Plus size clothing, please

  • @PandemicApparel
    @PandemicApparel7 жыл бұрын

    The garment industry is highly specific when it comes to clothing. I have yet to work with a company where I have to grade or create plus size clothing. So, I'm very sorry but I can't give advice on something I don't know anything about.

    What is the difference between 4th and 5th edition in Helen Armstrong.... ?..how much it cost??

  • @Writeoscar
    @Writeoscar7 жыл бұрын

    my advice is this, the book from Armstrong is a great resource ONLY if you have some understanding of pattern making. there are a lot of section in this books that required to have some background in order to understand why the author draft the pattern the certain way.

    I used US Size 8 or 9 for this project. I usually use the recommend knitting needle size found on the yarn label.

    I've watched Ralph Pink's videos as well and didn't see him describe how he preps the final blocks for tile printing. I'll go back and see how he does it.

    Thank you for this video. I have my mother's 40 year old sewing machine but I'm terrified of it. It's to fast and powerful for me being new to this. It actually threaded right through her finger. I think I'll stick with hand stitching for awhile.
