Even 45 years ago Yosemite Valley was much more open in bigger meadows. I winter mountaineered the Sierra Nevada mountains January to May 1980. Last time I went there in 2002 the forests had spread into the park even more.

so you really think Native Americans had time to be environmentalist activist? There wasn't that many people back then to have any effect on the environment.

They set fire to the land to reduce fuel of dead brush and to increase hunting since animals loved the open, young, areas.

Don't forget that the native Americans slaughtered huge numbers of buffalo and each other.

What's your point? Natives murdered a lot of buffalo by running a herd off a cliff so they could eat one or two. It was the way their "BRAVES" hunted best, besides in box canyons.

Kate saw her results echoed in research she did during the peak of China’s COVID-19 quarantine. She worked with a team of Chinese researchers to survey people who were stuck in isolation, ranging from ages 15-71. Her study found that people who passed the time with flow activities reported less severe depressive symptoms, less loneliness and more healthy behaviors. And the benefits became greater as the quarantine dragged on. You can read about it here: news.ucr.edu/articles/2020/04/17/how-can-you-beat-covid-19-blues-find-your-flow

Thank you for this video, Lynn & Sean. I didn't know that Lynn was the one who discovered Annie's nest on the Campanile! I'm guessing she is at least partly responsible for getting the nest cams up there, too, so thank you! I hope you'll continue these videos!

I don’t see it as no brainer. Given we are reducing evaporation of water, doesn’t it mean we are reducing the water content in clouds which carry water and rain somewhere else? Like isn’t this impacting some other places? Or this is very small? Any research links would be highly appreciated. Thanks

How about just investing more in nuclear energy. Its more efficient, more greener than solar but significantly more cheaper. But i guess doesn’t fill pockets of climate activists.

He perdido muchas neuronas viendo esta mierda... "Hispano" es una persona que habla español y/o nacido y/o crecido en CUALQUIER país hispano, no que es de España exclusivamente ni nada de eso, porque eso es un ESPAÑOL Y eso es solo una de las cosas que hay mal en este video, como se nota que México perdió California desde hace demasiado...

It is Gender neutral. Latino is the neutral and is also used for masculine. Latina is to specify feminine. However ending in "-o" isn't specific to masculine. It is also neutral but English speakers fail to comprehend this.
