I want to start crocheting but i dont know where to get my hooks and yarn and eyes(possibly if i do plushies)
@JustBeCrafty24 күн бұрын
Thats great! Welcome to the wonderful world of crochet! Depending on where you live and your current situation, stores like JOANN, Walmart, and Michaels are where I find most of my supplies, as well as Amazon. (I am US based.) To start with plushies, I highly suggest grabbing a #4-medium weight acrylic yarn (you'll find this info on the back of a yarn label), this would be brands like Red Heart Supersaver (from Walmart or any craft store), or Big Twist Value (only at JOANNs). Grab a light, bright color, and get a hook size a couple sizes smaller than what is listed on the yarn label. I'd start with a 3.75mm crochet hook. And JOANNs and Amazon have great selections for safety eyes. I hope this helps❤

This is an excellent video. I'm a little worried that my knot at the end of the fasten off row isn't going to hold. It seems I can undo it pretty easily with just my finger. Will weaving in the ends help to secure it?
@JustBeCraftyАй бұрын
Thank you so much! As long as your tail is long enough 4-6 inches (or longer) it will be fine to weave in, just make sure it’s really weaved in there, and it should be fine! 💕
