I'm so happy for you! This is my dream! I love my current job but crochet and crafting full time is my ultimate dream! My own advice to myself is to wait until I have a steady stream of income coming in from my crafts before I quit. But it's so hard to focus on it while I'm working 40-45 hours a week with my "normal" job..I'll get there!

I like listening to you while crocheting one of your cowls. Your voice is so soothing to hear when working.
Loves this video! As someone who is planning to quit her job and go full time as a crochet designer this year, not getting in your head when talking to people about it really resonated with me. As a teacher, who does love teaching, it definitely throws people off when I say I am not pursuing that when we move. And that’s okay!

Awesome video!! Thank you for the advise! I just quit my ft job to pursue my artist/vending career- I did however get a part time job just incase to keep me afloat for as long as I need it. Very excited for this next chapter- you are a wonderful inspiration!

Girl, yes!!!! I had no idea how much of my identity was wrapped up in my preschool teacher life! When I stopped teaching to focus on my craft, it felt like... "well what AM I now???"... like I needed to have a label...i was a teacher, now what is title?!?
