Yeah you redid it to where you can't use the old play cylinder your new master cylinder will not hook up to the old place cylinder because it doesn't have a clip so if you don't replace the whole thing you're up schitt creek and out 150 dollars
@ronalddaub974012 күн бұрын
I just wish you would have made it clear at the store that I really need to buy the whole thing or it's not going to snap together at the transmission point for the hydraulic line can be totally different but look the same
@ronalddaub974012 күн бұрын
It seems that you have two different types of connections that are trying to intermix in the market and I'm without a truck right now because it didn't click in it didn't have a clip on it and it didn't have provisions for a clip but the one you tried or sold me was the one for the clip the line coming down will not go in I'm not even going to get into the master cylinder that will not get into the firewall the right way that's the most ridiculous outfit I've ever seen I'm still without a truck because of this

I have a 2005 Ram 2500 with a NV56 . My clutch is the South Bend duel whatever they told me . When I bought it no noise when pressing clutch . Then after 6 months or so now sounds like dry bearings in the throw out bearing . Mechanic replaced it and showed me the old bearing and I see they are not a sealed bearing with grease . He put a new just like the old one where one side is open to the bearings . Looks like no grease and still makes the grinding dry bearing noise . After spending $1,800 for this and still the same loud noise I was and still am PISSED , I've changed throwout bearings before in my 4 speed cars over the years and every one were sealed and greased bearings . Do they make a sealed throw out bearing for the 2005 Dodge Ram NM56 and the South Bend Duel clutch ? Everytime i pull up to a red light people look and some yell i need a new throwout bearing . HELP ME !!!

Good job man. I've looked at several other methods & none are as good as this. The other ways are just too complex & many unnecessary steps & in the end wouldn't be near as effective as this method. Basically just use a little common sense, which many people seem to be lacking these days. They seem to be more into overthinking things & making simple things overly complex while still not addressing the problem. Which makes me believe they really don't understand the dynamics of things.

After watching that young man take the transmission out by himself and change all the parts has me thinking that i can do it too. The problem is my body says you're not a young man ( mid 50s ) and you'll end up hurting yourself. I'll listen to my body and hire someone.

Can anyone explain to me, how this is not the same as: - installing your slave cylinder on the gearbox - opening the bleed screw -lightly pres the clutch pedal to the floor - close the bleed screw before letting go of pedal This makes the same flow as you use the clutch-pressure plate, as your clamp Or am I wrong?
