Hey All,
I'm Carson, and welcome to Indy Ventures! This channel is a vlog for all of the adventures I hope to go on, and I'd like to take you along for the ride. I don't want to limit this channel to any one type of content, but I'd like to include moto vlogging and travel videos or whatever else I get the chance to experience!

Awesome video
RF's are not convertibles, they are T-tops or Targa's
Targa certainly makes more sense, but it's trademarked by Porsche so nobody else can use it, I think that's why they use the "retractable fastback" instead. But yea, when I think convertible, generally Id think about the rear pillar retracting too.
Quanto custa essa talaria?
¿Éste? $4200 pero puedes conseguir el XXX por $3200. tiene el mismo motor y bateria
PLEASE! MAKE MORE TALARIA VIDEOS I NEED MORE
(Also your 99th sub remember me)
Hey man, thanks! I've been a bit behind, should be shooting a video this weekend for release next week, keep an eye out!
How tall are you? I am 5”6 and just curious if I can flat foot this bike.
I'm 5'7" or 8", I can comfortably flat foot, and there is adjustment in the forks, so you could bring it down some, but I'd be surprised if you have any issues at all.
At 13k miles rn on my first Miata (ND2) and it has been a blast Edit: “cheap to insure” I pay $330 a month on insurance 😢 Edit 2 there is more then just the glovebox behind each seat there are places to store stuff
HOW ABOUT THE LEXUS LC 500 CONVERTIBLE
THE MIATA IS WHAT THE CORVETTE USED TO BE BEFORE THEY RUINED IT
THE ONLY CON OF THE MIATA IS HAVING TO PAY FOR IT
Do a video of driving in heavy rain when you get a chance.

I own and daily drive a ND3 Miata Club roadster and it’s perfect for my needs! I live in North Carolina, so I have no worry about winter driving conditions and it’s just me and my girlfriend, so it’s definitely capable of handling all our needs as for as truck space is concerned. It gets great gas mileage and the smile it puts on my face every time I drive it is so worth the very few little downsides of a Miata! I am 6’ 170lbs and I fit comfortably and have zero issues getting in and out of the car and I find the driving and seating position to be almost perfect! If you have any qualms about being able to have a ND Miata as your daily driver, it really all just comes down to your own unique situation!
dream watch, congrats !
Can I ride Talaria XXX if I'm 17 y.o?
Id confirm with local laws, but in most areas it's anyone over 16
@@indyventures4241 Thx
Depends were you live
Don't think age will be the thing that gets you in trouble. If you would get pulled over for small things like modded exhaust or tiny burnouts/slight aggressive driving you'll definitely get in trouble for riding on sidewalk bike lane or road. I see 14 year Olds in Idaho riding surrons everywhere. In LA new York Chicago etc places that are more liberal and have more old people will be hard to get away with
Super cool looking car, shame that it didn't have the performance to match.
Great vid was wondering How did you get your Talaria with black rims and black foot pegs stock? I’ve been seeing a lot of the xm4’s with just shiny steel colour
I didn't do anything, just came like that, but I do know they ship different versions of the bike, IE different build runs from the factory. They all have subtle differences. I'm sure you could contact the dealer to see what versions they have before you order.
can you buy talarias in australia
I looked into it. Yes you can, but you need a different vendor, try looking into AEbikes
i love my mx4. this bike offends no1. i live in norcal best investment ever. stay off the streets and its all good. cops have way bigger problems out here. no DMV no insurance no registration just bad ass fun. dont install the front fender and remove the tail off the seat.
Hey, thats Hazel Dell Road. I live just off Hazel Dell and 169th. Just picked up a 2023 club, love it.
Well we're practically neighbors! If you see me around be sure to say hi!
@@indyventures4241 same...I'm driving a metallic gray club convertible with the recaro, brembo, bbs package. Only had it a week, so happy to be back to a manual.
Love the airbag!
The red interior trim is kind of jarring to my eyes
You talked, Mazda listened re radar cruise. Now I have to buy an nd3
How would you compare fun of mx5 to motorcycling?
I found that going around corners flat with a little slip is more fun than leaning my bike through them, I'm not proficient enough to drift a bike. My Miata corners better than a bike because I'm not afraid of kicking the rear out. MIata offers more fun with less risk.
Ive had mine for 2 days now and I am absolutely OBSESSED. This bike is soooo much fun! Today I cruised around in the hills and it was absolutely magic. <3 do yourself a favor and get one.
ordered mine fromluna cycle last night, and i cant get more excited. Im a bigger dude so i hope it holds up lol
I'm about 190, it seems to have plenty of suspension rebound for me, it is adjustable, so if you find it too soft you should be able to dial it in some.
If you're tall you may want to get some bar risers, but that's a pretty easy install.
@@indyventures4241 5'11 but i got alot of meat on me, thinking of some stronger springs then forks, but im not going to be hitting trails hard, just road riding really
So dam jealous, I need one of those
If you're less into off-roading, you can go for the Talaria XXX it's $1000 cheaper and every bit as fast!
Bigger sprockets give you less top end speed and more low end torque, and vice versa for smaller sprockets. I put a 48t sprocket on mine to get a little more torque and maintain pretty high top speed. A lot of people who ride them off-road put even bigger 52t and 54t on, I may try those out in the future. The low end is where the fun is at!
Yea! In a year I might do something ill-advised and do all of it at once! Bigger battery, controller and a slightly bigger rear sprocket, at that point id need bigger brakes too.
Bigger front sprocket is the way to go only like 7 bucks on Amazon lmao
how many rpm does the engine have at 87 mph in 6th gear?
About 3,200
I'm on my 5th MX-5 and have put approximately 40K ~ 80K miles on all of them. I had 23K miles on the 4th, of which was totaled this past January 30th. Finding another Platinum Quartz w/Terracotta Napa Leather seats took over a month to find, of which the dealership did. I have just under 3K miles on the new car presently. I can't say much about this car, but I can say all the others were trouble free and all were a pleasure to drive. By the way, I'm 6'1", 247lbs. People always ask me how I get into this car. My answer usually is, Monthly Payments. I admit, it's a little cramped, but who said life was fair? I've driven places over 5 hrs. away and enjoyed every hour on the roads. There are a lot of people that have to squeeze a little to get in and out of these cars, but they do. It's worth it.
I stopped watching immediately after he said he’s in a relationship
Clearly he meant with the car 😀
Red RF’s are absolutely gorgeous to look at!
what website did you order it off
Luna cycles, and they're a great retailer as long as you're shipping within the US.
2:05 anyone else spot that Aston??
I did now
how long did it take to get to you?
5 days from California to indiana
Appreciate you! Looking to order one for myself. I have a family and my spouse has a car, too, so we've been wondering if having the one option for the "whole family" is feasible. This helps!
I don't remember that in the kung fu panda 😳

Nice review. I’ve had my DeLorean as my daily driver for 6 years. In that time I have gotten used to the visibility and I have very little trouble seeing what I need to see. My 2016 Camaro has far worse visibility. Also once you get used to gull-wing doors, regular doors are absolute pain. I find the handling to be quite good for a car of its era. To be fair I have had a performance exhaust and performance cams installed so I’m getting a little more horsepower out of the engine. The main reason the car was so underpowered was because the United States forced manufacturers to put catalytic converters on dropping engine performance by quite a lot. There was a twin turbo version planed before the company went under and if that version had been manufactured the DeLorean could have been a contender as a proper sports car from its era. I think of my car more like a nice GT, very nice to drive on long highways and road trips
That's something I didn't talk about enough, but I found the seating position enormously comfortable, I could absolutely road trip that car.
I hear you. 21 years and counting I've had my 83'. Luckily for us there are better intakes, exhaust and emissions that help these days. Better electrical and ECU systems too. For those who have the means and desire to, engine/EV options are out there too. I'm not about tell an adult what they can or can't do with their property.
Doug DID review a DeLorean, albeit, it was modified to look like a time machine.
True, but that didn't have the correct engine in it so it doesn't really count
The heater/AC switch is vacuum operated. This is the origin of the noise. The steering is hard, but in my car there is no play at all.At this time, these cars are 40 + years old, and they need a good maintenance. Great video, congratulations. Greetings from Spain.
Would love to be on track with my Delorean vs your Mazda. I think you would be very surprised. The problem with them and why they get a bad reputation for driving dynamics is because they are 40 plus years old. After you replace the bushings and add a set of KW coilovers these things are an absolute blast to drive.
I know that power steering can be installed on Deloreans, I have seen a few videos of it. Also, I think those who don't want to deal with the clutch can use an automatic transmission.but this vehicle is truly an icon
Car looks huge in the opening segment!
It's got deceptive proportions, it's long and low! It's about a foot shorter than a honda civic if you can believe it!
@@indyventures4241 Oh, I know... I own one. :) I thoroughly enjoyed your review!
The Delorean isn't actually all that heavy. It weighs in at about 2800 lbs, just about the same as a Scion FRZ or Subaru BRZ. It has a lot of Lotus roots with a very very similar frame to an Esprit. There are some extremely easy modifications that can change the way the car handles. The stainless panels don't weigh much at all, you can lift up the fenders with 2 fingers, the truly heavy parts to these are the doors.
Yea, I double checked after filmed that, sadly I didn't have time to re-shootnthat segment. But thank you for reminding me, I'll add a correction to address that!
@@indyventures4241 I know driving my Delorean yes they are actually not heavy but they feel heavy. I have an automatic, shifts fine most of the time. Definitely fun and different to drive.
Beautiful 😍
Excellent points and review! I daily drive a 2008 NC with the PRHT. I agree it’s fun and practical enough for my needs. The ND is my next Miata which I just ordered. It’s like yours except a 2023 which has the black leather interior. My only concerns are the lack of a glove box and the fact it’s only a targa top convertible. But I love the styling and that red paint. So I’m waiting for it to arrive. I will miss my reliable NC which I’ve daily driven for 4 years. It’s perfect for Florida weather and still gets compliments on its roadster looks!
There a many six foot plus owners who have absolutely no problem.
I want Mazda to change 3 things on the Miata. (1)Release a Shooting Brake version of it: it'll solve cargo space problem, it'll stiffen up chassis by the solid roof and even probably save weight by not having to add weighty chassis bracing like on convertible ones. You also don't have to worry about leaky convertible tops after 10 years. (2)Another thing is to add dual-injection to the engine for longevity. (3)And for non-manual people, fast shifting automatic. That'll be sweet.
I'm up to 76,000 miles on my 2016 Club BBS/Brembo soft top. It's been a great daily driver. At 5'8", I fit great with space to spare behind me. It's no more than 2x/yr that I need more space than the trunk allows. I can always rent something for a day if needed. My gas mileage was great when I lived somewhere with roundabouts, but it's dropped considerably now that I'm surrounded by stoplights. Still great on interstate. I drive year round with 200TW tires during summer/autocross season & winter tires for the other 5 months. The only mechanical issue I've had is a wheel bearing failure after 70,000 miles. My paint is also heavily chipped, & of course the seats show some wear. It's still very comfortable to sit in. I'm totally stock besides wheels & tires. It's loud enough at 70mph that if I'm doing longer than a 1 hour drive, I like to use earplugs. Doing so, I've driven 750 miles in one day more than once with no discomfort from the drive. I expect I'll drive it another 6+ years happily as long as Midwestern rust doesn't consume it first.
My 1990 has almost 176 000 miles on the odometer. Love the car
I have been driving a new 2023 ND for about three weeks now. It is my first Mazda and first proper sports car ever. I am 170 cm tall roughly and a very skinny body type. I have always driven small city cars, my previous car was a 595 Abarth and in all honesty I find the driving position of the ND VERY cramped. Leg space is zero and when going in and out of the seat it is unavoidable to scratch internal plastics and seats with your shoes. My door and seal are already full of scratches after only a few daily drives and I am a super careful person. Every time you need to seat or stand up from the seat it feels like a contortionist trick, if you don't want to leave annoying marks on internal plastic. Another thing that annoys me about this car is that when the oil is cold, you can't basically use the gear stick in low gears. It feels clunky and stiff and it is incredibly easy to grind your gear. I often find myself having to slow down to zero kmh in order to select first gear. Shifting from first to second at the traffic light when the oil is cold is kind of a feat. Things I love about this car are: it feels solid, safe and well assembled, the interior features are simple and yet super functional. No electronic bells and whistles, simple car, you just focus on driving. Things are where you should expect them to be. The air conditioning is manual, classic turning knobs, I love it. You can select the fan speed and temperature in a second, without having to press several times a button. It has a decent stereo system (I have the base trim). The best thing about this car is that when you sit in it and drive, you can literally keep going for hundred of km without even noticing. It flows so well, turning is so easy. There is no body roll, bends I used to slow down in with my Abarth are literally obliterated by this ND. Traveling is so easy, especially in twisty roads, heavier cars will disappear in your mirrors. And last thing, the steering is point-and-shoot precise. This car is a pure grand tourer, despite the aggressive looks, this car wants you drive far and in total relaxation. It is a week-end mind-clearing therapy. To say it in a few words, the ND is a satisfying F*** OFF to people who spend big money on modern, super technological cars that can't be used in a rewarding way unless you break the law.
