The absence of C and Z buttons is the deal breaker for me. Now I have all sorts of configurations for my games on reWASD that use all 6 extra buttons, I can't go back. V3 Pro is already great but I am waiting for V4 Pro.

You can see the text clearly because you have it at like 300% scale?! Why don’t any of the reviewers on KZread seem to mention what scale they’re using!!??
Because that’s a personal preference thing. If you don’t know that this size monitor at 4K will need text scaling then you shouldn’t be looking at buying it.
@@1UpNerdcore Thanks for the reply! There are three variables at play: screen size, resolution and scaling. In your video you forgot about scaling, and in your reply to my comment you forgot about screen size: You can't claim that a 4k panel will always need scaling, because it depends how big it is. A 43 inch 4k panel has a pixel density of 105ppi, this is identical to a 28 inch panel at 1440p. It's unlikely you'd want to apply scaling to the 28 inch display at 1440 (or at least I wouldn't). Even if you did, it certainly wouldn't be as much as 300%. By scaling up the image, you improve clarity, but reduce usable space. In the 300% example the usable resolution of the 4k display drops to 1280x720 - at this scaled resolution of course text looks clearer (because the OS is still rendering the scaled output at the pane's native resolution) but the benefits of having a large monitor are gone - you have less usable space than even a 1080p screen. (The reason an OS might default to 300% for a 4k resolution is because it doesn't take into account screen size - a 15 inch laptop with a 4k display would likely need the screen to scale to 250 or 300% to make it usable.) The reason I raise this issue is that OLED panels have issues rendering text at lower scaling factors, which is most noticeable at the native resolution. This monitor is big enough to run at its native resolution. However, due to the RWBG sub-pixel layout the text is not clear at 100% scaling.

Are there any issues with this monitor? why is it cheaper than some shity monitors?
I think Samsung thought it would sell better than it did but their 1000 dollar price tag don’t make sense so no one initially bought it. That’s why you find lots of sales now because they didn’t really start getting them sold until that point.

A tv is better than a monitor for that. If you have to use it for content consumption it’s okay but you might look into the Samsung g7 43inch monitor for that

Not with features like this. Closest thing would be the ps5 pro controller
it also has Bluetooth so instead of using speakers on the laptop you can always hook up a Bluetooth speaker works a treat!

I’ve used the autonomous ergo 2 for almost 5 years now. Because this cushion is so nice I could use this one though. Outside of the leather style ones all of the ones I’ve reviewed all have their pros and cons based off person preference. I could use all of them for various reasons.

I really want to buy this monitor but its like 95% reviewers says bad things about it while 5% minority says otherwise that they dont experience any of ghosting or its very minimal...have you tried this at 144hz? is it "stable"? i dont know much about monitors, and since its my first time looking for 4K gaming monitor, I wanted to purchase this guy since I can also use it for watching movies..please advise thanks
I cover all of that in the video but in summary this is going to have ghosting and slower response time. Will you notice that or be bothered by it is the bigger question.
Almost all VA panels have ghosting especially if they are 1ms MPRT and not faster like 1ms GtG
@@1UpNerdcore I was using acer Nitro 31.5 va panel with 240hz FHD I didn't really notice ghosting...
That’s because the more frames you display the more it will minimize ghosting. 240hz usually has minimal to no ghosting on VA panels because of its displaying 240 frames a second vs 120 or 144.
The more frames the smoother motion looks thus less ghosting

Nice video, I'm now considering this case for my next build. I'm looking to build my wife a sffpc basically for work (MS office, Internet, nothing gaming) and am looking at a MB (Asus z790) and CPU (14900k) with 64 or 96gb ram and want it to handle 2 4k monitor w/out a GPU. All air-cooled with the Noctua NH-L12S. Building this all inside the Fractal Design Ridge case. What do you think of this (pro/con) and what case, CPU and MB would you recommend? Thank you.
It’s a hard case to build in. I got their evolve shift xt case and it was easier to build in because its height adjustable. The Hyte revolt 3 also and never release the video. That’s another solid option. This case you’ll need to get the mesh panel sides for airflow.

Hey how does this monitor handle reflections? I have a window behind me. My current screen doesn't handle reflections well so this is a must fort next purchase
It’s a matte finish so it’s okay but if the reflection is glaring then you’ll notice regardless of the screen

Black Equilazer wont go beyond 10 for me. Brightness is max at 50, sharpness max is 20 and the rest is 50 max as well. Why?
They’ve upgraded the models over the years and subsequently adjusted some of the in panel settings

CHECK THE DATE OF MANUFACTURE! I appreciate your review on lawn mowers. I like you positive comments. I have an issue that is not performance related but manufacturing date related. I just want to advise consumers to check that date. I have checked Lowes all over DFW and I have not found an EGO mower newer than January 2023. On May 1, 2024, I purchased an EGO POWER+ Select Cut 56-volt 21-in Cordless Self-propelled Lawn Mower 7.5 Ah (1-Battery and Charger Included) LM2135SP, for $600 with an extra 5 Ah battery - great deal and promo - but it was manufactured July 2022 and it was not marketed as a older model deal - the battery that came with it was also July 2022. The mfg date is found on the grass catch door on the mower and the side of the battery - but YOU HAVE TO OPEN THE BOX TO SEE EITHER OF THESE MFG DATES. I also purchased an EGO POWER+ 56-volt 765-CFM 200-MPH Battery Handheld Leaf Blower 5 Ah (Battery and Charger Included), for $300 with an extra 2.5 Ah battery - another great deal - but again, you have to open the box to find the mfg date - and this one was June 2022. EGO'S CUSTOMER SERVICE RESPONSE is: "Does it work? If it works, what is the problem? Your warranty does not start until you purchase." I have used both and they worked great, but I never go into a store to buy something that was manufactured 2 years ago. Who does? BTW - the bonus batteries were both 2024. I am dissapointed in Lowes and EGO. THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR REVIEW!

Really good review, incredibly thorough as others have.mentioned. In terms of upgrading from one of alienware's older gen 3420DW monitors, would you favour the increase in resolution and panel tech over an ultrawide? I've the necessary build to power it (Rtx 4090, AMD Ruzen 7 7800X3D). Thanks :)
I haven’t used an ultra wide OLED yet so I can’t speak to that. For a normal ultrawide yes because of the increased clarity overall

does turning on the anc lower the volume while listening to in-game audio/music?
No, it doesn’t adjust the volume but anc will make it sound louder since it won’t be competing with any ambient noise

Wonder how accurate this machine is because a few years ago they tested these with a confirmed calibration source and a large number failed which is worrying due to what it meant to do and with balls used in sports if they are at the wrong pressures the team can be in trouble with the governing bodies
Very interesting point I hadn't considered with respect to my pump that I use for my car. I suppose the inaccuracies are less important for higher pressure jobs like tyres (i.e. plus or minus 1PSI is less meaningful) but a lot moreso for footballs.
Using a 80 dollar machine when the degree to which calibration matters like that example wouldn’t make sense. You’d want an extremely accurate machine because the stakes are so high. I don’t doubt it’s accuracy but would guess there’s potential for a small margin of error like +-1 psi

Hey, I'm currently looking for an alternative way to mount a camera in a top down perspective way and stumbled upon your video whilst researching microphone arms. In your video the arm looks pretty strong. What would you say, is this arm sturdy enough to hold a mirrorless camera without jitters when you accidentally bump the desk? Thanks in advance 👍
It should hold it fine. The thronmax might be a better option if that meets your spec needs

I have the 14 pro so it was Bluetooth. The 15 could use the adapter
@@1UpNerdcore yer I’ve seen afew reviewers using the 2.4 on the 15 and they sound so much better, sound and mic wise, shame a lightning to usbc adaptor doesn’t work for the 14 or below, Bluetooth is cack for mic on discord on iPhone
