I’ve had mine for about 2 weeks now and I can say it’s the best controller I’ve ever owned. The sticks are the best I’ve ever felt. The mechanical buttons are super satisfying. My first console was a sega master system when I was 5.

I love your in depth review. I watched others and that’s why I got it but nobody got into as much detail as you did. Great video!

Hi, thanks for the review! I want to ask how convenient the M1-M4 buttons are, I own an Asus Raikiri Pro and there the layout of the additional buttons is different, I am thinking of buying an Apex 4 but not sure if this layout of the M1-M4 buttons will be convenient for me.

One of my main complaints with the raikiri is the paddles are to close together on the back so I end up hitting them. These are further apart so I don’t hit them accidentally.

Why is the left weight of the rumble motor bigger than the right one? I received mine today and compared it to his video and it seems that is desgned that way. Any ideas why? Won't that lead to weaker force feedback on the right side?

@@1UpNerdcore Well I finally got my apex 4, and I can say that for people with long fingers (like me) the location of the rear raikiri buttons seems more convenient, but nevertheless I got used to the apex buttons pretty quickly. As for everything else - Flydigi is a head above Asus. I bought the interchangeable sticks and it's a blast to play with them

Does windows view this as a xbox controller on pc?

Check your firewall. Could be blocking the app from working or booting up

Already did, ran through a long list of things and couldn’t ever get it to work on my main PC

thanks for the vid i bought the apex 4 on aliexpress für 90€. i like the controller so far. How can i change the lighning? I had 360 controller xbox one controller ps5 dual sense and a MS Elite 2 Controller

It’s up there among other top joysticks in my opinion. Very accurate smooth. The ability to adjust the force on it makes it better than others out there since most don’t have that adjustment.

The brookwingman will work because this controller supports x-input. X-input support is what is needed for any 3rd party unofficial xbox controller to work via an adapter on xbox.

Can connect or support apple devices with ios 17.3 above?

Pretty good review, take a like. have you tried the vader 3 pro? Apparently is almost the same but without the fancy stuff as the built-in screen, detachable front plate and configurable joystick spring tension but otherwise it is the same for half the price. Do you think is worth paying almost double for those features? Same Joysticks, face buttons, d-pad, bumpers, rumble motors, compatibility across platforms, back buttons and even better triggers since you can set them as hair triggers with an actual physical change to micro switch buttons and stopper. "Gamer Heaven" (a reviewer of gamepads) said that it wasn't worth it and to just buy the vader 3 pro, he also said that it was the best gamepad overall you can buy right now.

@@REJR90 yep didn't now. Apparently the apex 4 is covered with extra plastic to prevent dirt to get in the sensor and other than that I don't know what else I'm missing, on the circularity test they're the same. But yeah apparently I forgot to include that the apex 4 has by default a polling rate of 1000hz when connected by cable or to the dongle, it also has a bigger battery. But yeah, the differences now are more than before, still do you think is worth paying double for those features?

That’s what I’m using in the video…

The absence of C and Z buttons is the deal breaker for me. Now I have all sorts of configurations for my games on reWASD that use all 6 extra buttons, I can't go back. V3 Pro is already great but I am waiting for V4 Pro.

I’m curious if you can use the controller wired on iPhone with the use of a otg adapter
