Would you try the Embertone Walker Steinway Grand Piano?
How can i get to your playing level?Should i learn something about jazzharmony?❤
Man your playing is so enjoyable !How can i get to your playing level?Should i learn something about jazzharmony?

Thanks so much for watching. These voices are really interesting. Joyfully yours!
What's going on with those low Bb's at 13:00?!? Any soft pedal samples?
Rob, I think this is just part of the character of the piano itself. I find that a lot of these type of "vintage" piano libraries have retained some of the natural character of the piano which means not everything is going to be perfectly in tune, the little imperfections keep you grounded in a way. I do not think these have soft pedal samples. Thanks so much for watching.
Wow, this is right in my wheelhouse. Years ago I put together an audio track called "American Way". These brass swell plugins would have fit right in.🇺🇲
He was a great singer
Thank you Simeon for taking the time to explore Brass Swells 🎺 wonderful playing as always! See you on the next one 🫡
I keep forgetting it is on Thursdays now...
Halvard, usually I try and have the livestream on Thursday, but it has moved here and there over the past couple of weeks. I am working around client projects here which causes me to take a break from a livestream every once in a while. I try and send out an announcement a day or two ahead of time on my other socials so you can follow me there to get reminders and news. Thanks as always for the support. Joyfully!
You can tell that you probably have too many libraries when you forget that you have already bought something (in my case, Panorama Guitars) 🥴
😂
That sounds great right out of the box
What I enjoy about this series is the natural feeling of how the dynamics flow. You can get so many beautiful textures, especially when combining the different articulations.
was this library released before as a different felt piano? , because a certain game composer said they used the Felt Piano from Spitfire for a game that released in 2018 , for the game Celeste.
Maplefoxx, I think it was released way back as a Kontakt library and then ported over to the Spitfire Player as the Original we have now. It is possibly the best felt piano in this category and has been used on so many things due to its sound and character. Thanks so much for watching.
Thank you Simeon for yet another wonderful review, it's always such a pleasure to hear you play our libraries! :)
It is truly my pleasure. I am glad I was able to get this one in as it has such a rich and engaging dynamic.
The minimum requirement is to have a Kontakt Player (for free), isn't it?
Yes, it uses the FREE Kontakt Player. They also just release The Orchestra Elements which is a FREE version of The Orchestra, sort of like a taster which is very nice. Thanks for watching.
@@PraiseTracks Thank you very much 🙂
@@wernervannuffel2608 my pleasure.
nice playing
Thanks so much!
Sounds awesome! Not sure how you managed the installation. For the past few hours it says 0% Pianoverse Downloading: 744.4MB left (NaN/sec) Time left: calculating...
That sounds odd for sure. Downloaded and such can be affected by all sorts of crazy things going on with the wider network. At times when things look unusual like this, I tend to shut the app down, run a network speed test to see how that looks and then try launching the installer again and see what happens. If you are still having similar issues then that would be the time to reach out to IK support to see if there is something else you can try or it could possibly be an issue they are having. I do hope you can get it sorted. Thanks for watt and keep me posted. Joyfully! 🎹🤓
@@PraiseTracks Thanks for the kind response. I’m using a boot drive for my Mac so the issue could be in the download path I guess.
amazing!
Great playing as usual. I'm running pianoteq on my old iPhone 7 as dedicated keyboard module. Along with Ravenscroft. It's amazing how these devices can handle these virtual instruments with ease. Latency is probably about 8ms, give or take. It's almost non-existent. Such joy to play.
The first time I pulled up the Ravenscroft on an older iPhone I knew things had changed. Then fast forward to now having Pianoteq running on a mobile device and it frankly blows me away. Thanks so much for watching and the kind encouragement. Who knows what is waiting just around the corner! Joyfully yours. 🎹🙏
I can't ever tell if the plugin is good or not simply because Simeon can make anything sound so good!
Respect from Russia !!!!!!
Thank you so much for watching! 🙏🏻
Interesting addition to Halion. I would say it's a drone machine that you can shape to the beat in the Filter and the Stream Filter pages.
X-Stream highlights the new updates to the Spectral Engine. These new parameters are available in the full version of HALion, where you can incorporate the new time and pitch stretching, along with the other modulation and filters to create some wild new instruments that can be polyphonic. So, you can say X-Stream is a sort of proof of concept. Thanks so much for watching.
I love your videos because they are so informative, and additionally, I get to hear your brilliant playing and improvisations! I like what MUSIO can do because it is so versatile and you can grab individual articulations instead of huge libraries that may have articulations I would never use. What I am not clear about is where the files go after download. Are they in the cloud and download every time you open your file that calls for them? Or are they stored on your computer and you can get them from your own drives? I love the sounds I am hearing! I'm a newbie and all this is a hobby for me, so MUSIO may be a bit over the top for my level. Sounds so great though!
MUSIO is a great concept and I look for it to continue to improve. When you first set things up you can specify where you want your sounds to be stored. You only have to download instruments one time and they have a home you designate on your system. When you call up a project your sounds will load accordingly. I hope that helps. Thanks so much for watching and your kind support. Joyfully yours!
Just started playing with this. Looking forward to digging in. 🎹♥️
This is the only one that's still not Apple Silicon native. I really hope they port it soon rather than constantly releasing new synths. Really frustrates me as a customer that owns 80% of their stuff, as this is a good one indeed. I loved the demo time I had with it.
Take away the attack then it will be pretty cool pads.
I´m not that excited about new Engine format, what does it mean porting over ?? Does it mean all my own sounds will vanish if update this?? (not sure if saved them right) or does the New Engine come as a separated Vst then I´m Happy.
I would have to double check but I think this installs as a separate Instrument so that both the new and older can coexist. I will see what I can find out. Thanks for watching.
I just heard back and YES, you can have both iterations of the ENGINE installed without running into an issue. Thanks again for watching.
Can you shed any light on what gear you’re using in this video please. I see you have iloud mtms behind you, but you must be listening to your playing on something else that we can’t see, you aren’t wearing headphones so pray tell what do you use to listen to yourself in real time? And would you consider the mtms good for playing piano through? If so why aren’t you using them to play live? Thank you for your time and magical playing.
Mark, I am indeed wearing in ear monitors, to hear everything that is going on; instruments as well as my voiceover and computer audio, everything is also going straight from the sources into the audio interface and captured on the stream. The iLOUD MTMs have been such a joy to work with and are mainly focused on project recording and mixing. You might be able to use them for live performance but they would not be my first choice. Ideally you would need something that could provide coverage for a larger room instead of the narrow coverage the near field nature the MTMs provide. I will have to do some research on what would be useful as a live speaker setup. Thanks so much for watching.
@@PraiseTracks thanks Simeon, appreciate your reply, I can get a pair of iloud mtms very cheap currently due to a sale on them so I’m probably going ahead and getting them as apparently they are great for piano vsts after doing some research.
Ali had a beautiful voice.
Love this song. It has spiritual meaning.
Great playing as usual, Simeon!! Cheers, Lukas
Thanks so much! 🙏
I remember native instruments had a spectral effects plug in back around before 2007. And they did away with it for some reason. Unfiltered audio has a great spectral vst called Spec Ops. But this thing you’re working in does lots more. Cool stuff!
I have just found the Bob Ross of keyboards.
One thing you can't get from watching or listening to a demo (which you play beautifully btw) is how it feels to actually play it...and there is just nothing quite like playing the Pianoteq in my experience. It is so expressive to the touch...just a pure joy to play. I love the new Böse...really takes it up another notch. I like your description of crunchy with a soft center - right on the money!
Jake, absolutely, and that is why having some sort of demo I think is vital when making a final decision. Some pianos that fall into more of the "character" category are more forgiving as they are more for effect instead of a straight ahead attempt to provide a real piano playing experience. Thanks again for watching, along with the feedback. Joyfully yours!
MSoundFactory in itself could be the most powerful synthesizer plugin out there... Certainly in the top 3. And then this piano comes with it for free. And the price of the entire MSF on a discount, including the piano, is about as much as Pigments. Great value for money for sure.
Wow! You got me to buy this one. Thank you!
the best plugin of all.🤒💥👍
Ever since I saw your video, I downloaded it and I've been playing around with it. It's absolutely immersive and addictive!
Be blessed Simeon! 🙏
It's such a beautiful and touching chord! I wonder how the piano and strings are played at the same time, and the name of the synthesizer you use.
I would have to go back and check. The short story is that whatever other instruments I was featuring at the time sometimes found their way layering with other featured instruments. Most of the time I would just link the respective MIDI tracks so they could be played together. Thanks so much for watching.
Good morning. Lord Vader is the Lord.
Wow, Jesus is Lord! ❤
Nobody ever mentions whether it's compatible with Akai Mpc products 😔😔😔
What compatibility would you be looking for? When installed on your system it will create MIDI ports and serve as a controller. You can then configure it if you want by customizing the pads and controls. When playing the software instruments, you just select the iRIG KEYS as your MIDI input source and go from there. Thanks for watching.
Hi Simeon this is an awesome plugin but can you save the sound you make as a Preset into the plugin.
Absolutely. There is a very detailed patch system where you can organize user and factory patches. Thanks for watching.
Only sound looping. No more musicality and musician expression. I tried several videos and you are the only one that made it alive ;-) Monophonic synth sounds back!
Thanks so much for the kind words. I think it is an amazing way to discover and learn more about sound design possibilities. Joyfully yours!
Does it work in Logic Pro X. Pl tell somebody.
I am running Windows 11 but I would have to say it should be fine on MacOS. You can check out the full requirements and compatibility here: www.steinberg.net/vst-instruments/x-stream/ Thanks for watching.
It does work in Logic Pro X :)
@Cheetah479 Thanks for sharing.
unable to install. I've had more problems with steinberg and halion than all my other plugins put together
Seems very similar to Fracture Sounds' "Zen Meditation". have you had the chance to play through that library as well? As always, thanks, Simeon!
It is my pleasure, and yes, matter of fact ai also took Fracture Sounds Zen Meditations out for a spin. You can check that video out here: Feel The Calm, Fracture Sounds ZEN Meditations | Free Blueprint Greenhead Chimes kzread.info/dash/bejne/pqeZrMmnY5eeqtY.html Thanks so much for the kind support.
Whoa Simeon! BBC should hire you for documentary voice over AND music 😊
Be sure to tune in next time as we look at the migration of the elusive blue footed, red crested Wurlitzer emulation! 😂 Thanks so much for watching. Joyfully yours!🤓
This Is Probably One of The Greatest plugins That i Use in My Music Alot now❤
