Further North Fabrication
I've considered myself a maker most of my life, but only put a name to it in the last few years. A build of my channel is about woodworking projects I make, which could be shop furniture, fine furniture, or even creative storage solutions construction projects.

Fyi everyone: Bed leveling and Tramming are the same thing. It's making sure the nozzle is the same distance from the surface at all points on the bed. On the Ender the auto bed leveling doesn't adjust the bed. The BL touch measures any tilt/lows/highs of the bed surface and compensates for it during printing. Manually leveling the bed first then running the auto level makes it far more effective. Also every time you first turn on the printer, you should auto level before printing. This is because spring tension, the bed surface etc. can fluctuate over time and you want to compensate for it.
VERY impressive video!
Did the fork conversion sort out the front end twitch?
It corners like it’s on rails now, but she does get twitchy if you let go of the handlebars.
What rear sets did you use for your bike? I have a cafe racer that I might need to swap the rear sets on
Cognito Moto rearset. Not cheap but extremely well made.
@@furthernorthfab is that set universal? And did you get the “cafe racer” kit with it? Or did your stock stuff work?
I love it! And I'm so happy that I was able to still find you as recommended by Jonny Builds when you helped him with his daughter's secret room hidden door. I've always loved watching things being made and the process of, say "slab to fab". I look forward to watching your videos and seeing your creations come to life!
It’s a beautiful motorcycle you and your son should be very proud
Where can someone purchase the plans?
Super cool build. I was wondering where you found that radiator cover and was hoping you could point me in the right direction, thanks much.
One of the members of the Facebook BMW K100 Cafe Racer group sells them.
Good one
Thanks for sharing, I got some great ideas👍🏼
Nice video. Two tips for concrete you may have already figured... In place of a concrete mixer, try a bucket with a mixing drill, it's a lot cleaner, and easier to control your water content, which is impactful on how the concrete cures. Also, use a drill with a Robby bit and run it on an angle alongside the formwork. It is a poor man's vibrator ;) And yes PPE is a great idea when working with concrete. Silica is just as bad as asbestos.
hi, I’m from a small town and I don’t have the opportunity to purchase such a kit, maybe you made the dimensions of the parts?
That’s a killer build dude well done 👏 Respect from the UK 🇬🇧 😎
I have owned my 1985 K100RS since 1991. It is stock except for a Corbin seat. K bikes are currently cheap, and a lot of them are getting chopped in this fashion. As stock K bikes are chopped and dissappear they will become more valuable, like finding a bone stock 1955 Chevy. in the long run I think the chop/mods will decrease the value. Only a bike that is too far gone to return to stock should be chopped, in my opinion.
You probably should watch my CB500 video… If I didn’t bring the bike back to life, it would still be sitting in the back of someone’s garage rotting.
The files from inventables are missing. Can you please update them?
I love how u narrate the whole story ❤
Did you ever make plans or do you have Any kind of sketch of it? My shop is small I use several flip top cabinets, I was just cautious because of the weight of a lathe. Great idea
That was an awesome video I just pick up a 1975 Kawasaki KZ 400 which I will be doing the some thing but it will be a learning experience for me and my Son we really finishing up a built that we have done to together and we are currently working on a C10 1966 Truck frame off restoration so I’m going to describing to your channel might need some pointers as we go along the way thank you for that great video we need more of those video
Bike is Fantastic! All that work shows!
Freaking loving your videos, nice work!!
I just bought this printer, it hasn't arrived yet, it's the first one I've bought for 3D, I really hope I don't have problems, I want to enjoy designing and printing, so if I have any problems I hope you can help me, the video is excellent, thank you.
Hi. I just recently discovered your channel. I am really interested in your videos for the natural cutting/charcuterie boards. I have recently started making similar boards for a client and I find that with the natural boards I have to spend time planing them to get them flat. Do you also flatten the boards on a planer or belt sander as part of your process or do you find that your wood is already flat enough?
I am also interested in your flip table build for the sander. I have the same one that sits at the end of my workbench so the flip top table would be an awesome way to hide it when not in use and extend my workbench surface. Thanks. Love your work.

Wow what an amazing build inspired by this build love the detail down to the M stitching on the seat
Thanks so much! I just uploaded an update video as well. Some of the tweaks I made at the beginning of this riding season.
Great build.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. This is my favorite bike. You’ve done a brilliant job on it 🫡
Thanks Dustin. I feel like this is just the beginning of my bike building.
Been looking at the Carpuride system for my bike. How is it at night? Does it dim? Is it secure or do you have to remove it when you park? IP67? Can you post a follow up after a month or two? Love the Canadian content! Easily spotted the P.A. spray bottle used for thr water. (Might have a couple myself.)
🍁🍁🍁 I can for sure post an update. I’ll have to test if it dims. I’m not sure if it does. For the price it’s important to beat
Great video Kris! Now let's go for a ride already!
Looks great! Head unit is killer
It’s pretty slick for sure!
Thats great. Many thanx.
Awesome job, Kris 🙌
Thanks! Can’t wait for more people to find the video 😜
It's a great looking bike!
Thanks, Evan! You’ll have to come see it one day.
This looks great Kris!! Well worth all the effort
So happy it’s done… almost I guess. A few more tweaks but nothing major.
Lucky son with a father who shares this hobby with him.
This is amazing. One of my goals in the future is to build a cafe racer and would love to be able to do it with my sons as well. I just started motorcycling a couple years ago so I have a long way to go. But I do all the maintenance myself so I can learn bit by bit. You’ve definitely inspired me to keep going to one day realize my goal!
Awesome Job!
Hey, what front disks are those? Thanks
They are part of the Jax Garage front end kit. There’s a 10% off code in the description if that helps
That bike looks great! Love the style and color.
Helpful video, thank you.
big help man this worked nicely
simplemente excelente!
Where do you get your seat foam and what firmness do you use?
How to make this machine
great video guys. Appreciate the hard work you put in to bring good content to the world. Amazing transformation. Good on you also for spending some good time with your boy.
Parabéns pelo trabalho meu amigo, ficou muito bonita 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Did you have an issue with leaking fuel when you cut the tabs off of the fuel tank? I want to cut the tabs on my bike but I am concerned about leaks. Awesome bike, great job!!
"She" ?
NOT GOOD
Sorry but I don't like this wrecking of classic bikes.....stick to woodworking..
