    We just got home from beloved! The resort is absolutely amazing. We stayed in the casita with a private pool which was absolutely amazing. We were right next to the cafetto and taco truck. Our only complaint was that our room was too hot. The AC was not great. They came to fix it which helped but the room has censors and it shuts off at night. This place is worth every penny. The staff go above and beyond. Loved your video!

    Great vid! My gf and I are going in two days, I’m watching this the weekend before we go to get me amped! What is the nightlife options around there? I know playa mujeres is a bit more isolated so I’m wondering if we want to have a night out what to do

    Thanks! We honestly didn't leave the resort once we were there, so I can't comment much about nightlife outside of Beloved. There is live music every night in Lupita Lounge, some more chill than others. They have a Season's Tours rep in the lobby at check in. You can always check with them. Enjoy your trip!

    Hello ..We are thinking about booking at Beloved … it says All Inclusive but also Free Breakfast. What exactly is the dining situation?

  • @JamieFarmer
    @JamieFarmer3 ай бұрын

    Hi! Technically, I would say it is about 99% inclusive. We never paid for any food or drinks (other than tips), but there are some higher end wines and champagne they come with a charge. Also, there is a sushi bar, and I think some of the high end Saki is not included. Other than that, all food and drink is included. I'm not sure why they worded it that way ("Free Breakfast"). I can tell you that you should have 4 options for breakfast. 1. La Bisou - substantial breakfast bar and a la carte menu. 2. El Mar - a la carte menu. 3. Cafetto - If all you want is coffee and donuts/pastries 4. Room service. Their website has full menus for all the dining options. Also, I would download The Excellence Collection mobile app. It also has all the menus, schedule of activities, room descriptions, etc. Thanks for watching, and enjoy your trip, wherever you go!

    Hi, great video! Thanks! We are doing a split stay at Excellence and Beloved in the Penthouse suite like what you stayed in. Can you tell me about the upgraded amenities that room comes with? Like the dinner on the beach or the unlimited thermal spa? Again, thank you.

  • @JamieFarmer
    @JamieFarmer3 ай бұрын

    Hi! I don't know about everything that comes with the Penthouse, since we weren't expecting the upgrade. I do believe the dinner on the beach is part of the package, it just needs to be scheduled with concierge. Also, we met another couple who was in another Penthouse suite. They had unlimited hydrotherapy visits during their stay, and they did one every day and loved it. I think there are some discounts on spa treatments, and other things. I wished I could tell you more, but as I said, the upgrade was a surprise to us. Enjoy your stay, and thanks for watching!

    Hello, thank you for the video - very helpful information. 3 questions: 1; Did you book the trip directly with Beloved, a travel agent, a travel booking site, etc? 2; Have you visited Excellence Playa Mujeres - if so did you book an Excellence club level? Asking b/c you mentioned they upgraded you at Beloved. 3; Do you know of any promo codes for Beloved? We just returned from El Dorado Maroma 4/23 & might try Beloved next time. Thank you so much 😊

  • @JamieFarmer
    @JamieFarmer3 ай бұрын

    1. Yes, we booked directly through Beloved all three times we've stayed. We did book our flights separately, but the room was through Beloved. 2. We had the opportunity to visit Excellence the first two times we went to Beloved, but we were having such a relaxing time that we didn't go and visit. I think if you stay 7 nights (maybe less) you can go to Excellence for dinner one night and they will arrange everything. We did get upgraded at Beloved, but I still don't know exactly why. 😀 It was our third trip, and we booked the lowest rate room of Jr Suite, so maybe they just wanted us to get used to the Penthouse. 3. They do have promo codes from time to time. I get them through email, but I think they post them sometimes on their social media pages. You might need to sign up for their email list. We will be back a 4th time for sure.

    We are debating going in November. Is the water and beach here dirty or full of seaweed? Did you have any difficulty making reservations on property or get bored of the food or get the stomach flu from eating or drinking on property? How well did the AC work? I like a cold room to sleep in, 67F, ideally. Is the water pressure low, any limited hot water issues, and how well does the wifi work? Are the pools heated? Is the resort loud? Also, did you do the resort airport transfer if, so is it a direct drive, or do they stop at other resorts and take longer? We actually have a swim out suite reserved for November. 😊 Any tips or tricks would be appreciated.

  • @JamieFarmer
    @JamieFarmer3 ай бұрын

    I think I answered most of your questions on the July 2023 video, except for the seaweed question. In July of 2023, there was some seaweed, but it wasn't bad. There had been storms out which I think stirred it up a bit. Any seaweed that is washed up on shore during the night, they come through and clean it off. That being said, the beach section right in front of the resort does have sea foliage (grass?) on the ocean floor where you walk. It feels weird on your feet, especially if you're expecting sand only. Even though we got upgraded to the Penthouse Suite this time, we're definitely going with a swim up suite next trip. We enjoy hanging by the pool more than the beach, and the swim up suites still get waiter service just like the pools do. This was our third time, but we met several couples who were on their 9th or 10th trip. One couple said it was their 10th time since 2018.

    Hi, I'll try and answer all your questions. We've stayed for 7 days two times now. Our next trip will be 4 days. In the 7 days, neither of us got bored of the food, but I suppose that could depend on your taste preference. The room service menu has the largest amount of options, and that's included as well. I know if you book a 7 night stay, you get a dinner pass at Excellence next door, which has more options. We had no stomach issues either that I can remember. The resort is very walkable. We always felt close to everything. AC was very cold! It will turn off if you open the balcony door, FYI. No issues with water pressure, showers are great! I had no issues with Wifi, watching KZread and I think I watched some Netflix one day while it was raining. I think 2 of the pools are heated, but we went in July so I'm sure it was turned off. Resort is very quiet. It's couples only, so no single crowds, etc. We used their Airport Transfer that is included (with 3+ day stay I think). It's private, straight to the resort with no stops, nice full sized SUV with snacks, water, AC, etc. Awesome experience. We'll be there in less than 2 weeks, and I'll try and post another video.

    Why the gutters had to be re routed?

  • @JamieFarmer
    @JamieFarmer Жыл бұрын

    They didn't "have" to be necessarily, but we chose to do it. We live in Georgia, and the soil here is very clay like. During the summer, we often get periods of time when there is no rain, but then a strong thunderstorm will come through and a lot of rain will fall in a short amount of time. During those types of situations, we'd see heavy rain off of those gutters just puddle and settle on top of the hard dry clay. This was before the pool, so it was just a drainage improvement we decided to do while we had the chance.

    Thanks! This one is 13x29, with a 3.5 shallow to 5.5 deep end. I researched for weeks on fiberglass and liner, and had different companies come out with quotes. We could have gotten a slightly larger vinyl liner pool for comparable price, but even the vinyl installer said figure in replacing the liner in 7 years. At the end of the day, the lower maintenance costs of fiberglass sold me.
