The dune shacks have been occupied for many decades by artists and writers who have sought solitude and inspiration. They have no plumbing or electricity, and not even any paved roads, as you clearly saw. This is part of the nation seashore, and indeed a national treasure!

Hey Adam; did you do Great Gulf over time in sections - or did you do it all in one go/have a video of you doing it all in one go. I’m @ 45/NH48; Doing The Bond’s next weekend to wrap it up. @18/T25’s. I’ve got Ice Gulch, Great Gulf, Great Gully, Chemin Des Dames, Subway, Sphinx, and Six Husbands to go! Going to do Sphinx and Six Husbands via The Caps Ridge Trail - for my next T25 hike (Planning on somewhere between July 1st and the 10th) - and finishing the T25’s before my 35th in mid September! I’ll be giving myself plenty of time in between to go out to Maine and VT for some VT5’s/ME14’s as well as Acadia National Park for The Beehive and Precipice Trails! #AdamHoyt Lmk if you’d be down for a hike! I live right on NH/MA border right off RT93. I’m planning on one hike every 10-14 days for the next 4 months! That goes for any other hikers watching this as well; down for the wildest, and most beautiful hikes out in New England!

But as I traveled up to the White Mountains to snowboard I realized how amazing they are and I think even more special. And excellent ski resorts as well. I love the view of Cannon there from Artist Bluff. Amazing ski mountain and I think the only state-run ski mountain in NH.
