I have just found your channel a few days ago and oh my god are you helpful! I am just in the process of starting my own business as a nail tech and this has been one of my biggest worries, and your video has put that worry aside for me! I was wondering if you could possibly do a video on how to register yourself as self employed and maybe how you order stuff through your business? I think that would be very helpful xx

Thanks for showing the dispenser, I liked it so much I’ve just been out and bought myself a couple. The acetone looks so much nicer in a dispenser and adds a little extra finesse to the workstation. Also the tools… 💛💛💛

Do you remember when GB had the launch party for the HEMA free gels. Well I went to the launch and there was a part where Charlie was on stage and she was throwing unicorn teddies for people to catch and win things. I actually caught one and won 2 free GB chairs. Lol. Well right after that she asked if we had any suggestions from what we would like to see from the brand and I actually asked for GB own cuticle tool range. And she liked the suggestion and even shouted over to Elliot to see if that was possible and he said yeah and that they would look into it. Soo I am so excited to see that they have finally come out with them. As that was a couple of years so now. (Which is crazy to even think about as it didn’t feel like it was that long ago) They look amazing. But well we knew they would as they always knock it or the park with whatever they bring it. Anyways great video hun. As I was really excited to see the tool kit especially. 😊

How come you don’t use base and should you always use primer on infills
It’s not a necessity with the black bottles. And I use dehydrator for black bottle builder and dehydrator and primer for hema free xxx

How can I make my clients Biab nails last longer ? My prep is pristine and I use acetone to remove any debris and use a dehydrator but can I use a primer as well to stop lifting ? Biab contains some primer but it’s not lasting long enough on my clients 😣
Clients need to maintain aftercare too! This may be the problem if your prep is perfect! Cuticle oil daily and protecting their nails when washing up/gardening/cleaning etc etc xx

was this the hema free glitterbels builder gel you were removing i tried to remove some today and after soaking for 15 mins it was still hard i couldn’t scrape it off i tried again for another 15 and it was still the same only little bits fell of did you experience this at all? xx

So I'm recently qualified and have tried out a few builder gels from different brands and still want to try out more (trying to figure out what works best for me as well as reading reviews), for those who don't use one brand what do you suggest in terms of a curing lamp ? would I just get the lamp of the brand I use the most ? Also, would you say the main reason people get reactions is due to it being uncured or does the HEMA levels affect it as well? I've been trying to look into the HEMA levels so that i have a bit more knowledge on it, i know the recommended max is 30-35%, I saw that TGB has around 17% but glitterbels has between 10-25% but people are still having less reactions with glitterbels it seems, so is it due to HEMA % and it being uncured so absorbing into the nail plate or is it because of other factors as well?
Yes I would use the lamp of the products you use the most or depending what service you cover the most. For example, I do mainly builder gel sets, so I have the glitterbels lamp as I use their builder gel and this is the most important as it’s directly on the nail. I use mainly their gels too now. Reactions can be caused by many different things, uncured gel as well as hema amounts. The issue with tgb was there were rumours/questions as to whether their sds sheets were correct due to the amount of reactions they were having. It’s a grey area to be honest with that brand but something I wasn’t willing to risk xx

Sorry if you think it’s not done properly. This video was over two years ago and I hadn’t been doing builder gel for long. I’d like to think I’ve improved at my application now😂
