I’m definitely a Gel type of person, kind of obsessed with it lol so I’m excited to see someone else into it also.. a lot of ppl on here like acrylic, or polygel..

i used to be a die hard acrylic girlie and totally resisted the gel movement! 😂 i’ve given in and have recently started some of my clients on biab, but they already have a lot of grow out from the acrylic! your channel has been so helpful!

Do you wipe the nails with alcohol/acetone before refining or painting top coat? You don’t find you need to flip the hand over to naturally build the apex? Don’t know if this is a silly question but how do you know which side of the file is the 180 and 240? They never have a label on both sides

Yes I do wipe over! The only time I find I need to flip the hand over is when I’m using tips, otherwise I’m happy with my structure 🥰 And with the files, I can always tell when I start filing if they are not labelled. One is more coarse then I just remember each time xxx

I never do slip layers, just preference 🥰 I always just do thin layer, cure then my bead layer. I have tried slip layers before but I feel I can get my application just the same with my fine liner afterwards 🥰
