What cable did you use Jed to link up the elektron with the SH101 through the click in hole? Also what hole do you put the other end of the cable in on the elektron?
Free Palestine
Hilarious
More!
any birds nesting up there? 😃
thanks for your useless comment about my appearance mate. Many people have curly hair. Get over it.
Nice job!
Good video, but one minor correction (and Robin could chime in to verify) at the 0:57 mark you flashed the Linndrum LM-2 which they never used. They did use the LM-1 briefly but Robin hated it because it was such a popular drum machine that everybody was using at the time, so by late 83 and 84 (when Pearly Dewdrops Drop came out) he had switched to the Emu Drumulator.
This makes me miss good ole Zoth Ommog
Is that a wig?
Thanks for your useless comment on my appearance. I've got curly hair, get over it.
hey guys, so I’m a complete beginner but it’s my dream to make EBM music as it’s one of my favorite genres of all time. Like I said, I’m a total beginner and my budget is currently quite limited, so I’ve got a question - are there any decent synths & drum machines you could recommend for a lower price? (whether the author of the video or someone in the comments who knows what’s up) I’d greatly appreciate it. Great track by the way :) I love it
Love it!
At 10:24 Hit Play .. then = Awesomeness
Das ist wirklich super !! 👍
This is a really cool song 👏🏻
Damn. You play bass good too. I hope you’re doin Ok!
Just joined your channel. I’m new to EBM and love it. It isn’t mainstream or spoken about much so I didn’t know about it. Your tutorial was great! I usually play and performed death or slam metal but now I’ve gotten help making this type of music. I hope to see more of your videos!
This was epic 👏👏🤘🤘
I love the Cocteau Twins and @robinguthrie solo. I think I was in Peru and I went to see you live. Was an unreal experience. Is that true that you were living in Lima for a while? I am from Lima but moved to Australia 22 years ago. By the way, I love this video and how Jeddy gives an academic explanation about Cocteau twins song, you are awesome mate!
Excellent! A mi_chemin entre Xymox et Sisters of Mercy!
WHAT KNOBS DO?
can you do "why hiphop sucks in 96" by Dj shadow?
This was enjoyable thanks
Thank you for an awesome tutorial !!
That's it man
Thanks for making this mate love the dive into an underdiscussed genre
Very cool stuff JeddyEval // Congrats!
Love this! Been thinking of trying to create some EBM next so this was inspirational. Love the synth line variations.
Exquisite
Perfection
this is hot; what a sexy set up😍🤤well done👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Congrats on that! Well explained and well executed. Thank you!
Very Front 242 sounding at first but then it becomes that really cool vampire lounge EBM sounding. I love it! I've been listening and playing Industrial and experimental electronic music since around 1985. I bought Skinny Puppy's first album Remission and was hooked immediately. It's really cool to see younger people getting into it and keeping it alive.
thanks for sharing
Dang, when you started that bass loop for the first time, I literally went “wooooooo!” :) If you make an ebm album, I’d buy it :)
Sick ! I’ve played this guitar and never thought how it’s weird for bass , super cool
You saved me sooo much time! Excellent teacher and bassist! Thank you, Jed! (Plus, I love your demeanor!)
Man, where are you? I really love your guides and music and miss it.
hey friend. I'll be back soon. It;s been three years lol thanks for your support
That fkn drum machine is expensive fuckkk i want one..
Ok the F frig/dom is F Gb Ab Bb Cb Db Eb F
*Man! I’m listening to this song in my home theater and it has so many interesting layers! 🏅🏆🎷🎸 I’m so glad I’ve found this channel. I’m using plugins but haven’t uploaded lately since I’m in the process of making industrial music.*
Reminds me a lot of Front Line Assembly's early material e.g. State of Mind. Well done.
Can I do the same thing with a drumbrute impact and a behringer ms1 ??
This is not a love song. Its an epic trip back in time to sticky smokey dance floors and sl1200 turntables, when the goths hated the indie kids and vice versa. And we all ended up together. Probably watching the breakfast club.
That bass line is fucking epic. It deserves its own video.
Damn that was beautiful
Ched makes noids
Thanks for this

Man I'm in love with your videos, so helpful, I'm just wondering how can I find those drums sounds ( kick, snare, hats..) tks a lot.
