    Servus, I love the volcas and own some: bass, drum and keys. I do a lot sounddesign and play only with one or two at the same time,ike you do. In search for good videos I stumbled upon your channel. I LOVE IT. ITS THE BEST ON KZread. KEEP ON YOUR GREAT ART. Best greetings to the south (still in KA or was it S?) from the north B.

    I used it for busking a few times; people loved it. This synth was quick trip to trance land. I miss it. I want to team up with a bunch of programmers and other musicians to re-create it, but better, better samples, the ability to load one’s own sample sets, more percussion and of course as a midi in/out controlled VST, AU, AAX, and AUv3. The features i loved; all the different modes and the ability to change keys and octaves on the fly. It was an interface that really felt good to play and was quite inherently musical.

    @@saltspringdesign Just a dream? Or are you serious to rebuild the oval Synth?

  • @saltspringdesign
    @saltspringdesign2 күн бұрын

    @@Volcaniced just a dream for now but, i think, a worthwhile and potentially viable project. I could certainly sketch it out and draft the UI. I’m a designer and a musician, however, not a programer. Also a simple hardware interface that is like a hang drum and/or steel drum or drums would be cool and make it compatible with any existing midi device of course. Are you in? What r your skills? What is your interest in it? Yes, i think i’m going to put it together :)

    This sounds awesome!! I have the J6, got it 2 weeks ago. Having a great time with it however it does seem kind of limited until I saw what you’re doing. Could you share the steps of how you accomplished this? I can find sound 3-5 but without the variation/style on it just holds a note steady when pressed and does not arpeggiate. I also saw you messing with the “enter” and “shuffle” button. I’m using it with a T8 however I would guess that it acts the same regardless of what drum machine is being used.

    Glad to see a new tune from one of my favorite synthesists, i think this is gonna be a great summer. I just ordered a poly d synth as a massive summer gift to myself after all the overtime weve had at work the last two months. Lovely tune btw light and airy, perfect summer vibes, all thats missing is a pitcher of margaritas. Have an awesome day bud.

I know what you mean sometimes things happen in life beyond our control that take the wind out of our sails and it just takes some time to regroup find purpose and inspiration and get back to doing what we love doing making 🎶 music ❤ I just went through that, happy with my new musical direction inspiration and idea's.
