    Could be. Just depends on how the house was built. Mine was built in 99.

    Without your KZread on how to fix the dryer door I probably would’ve had to throw the Maytag dryer away. It was easy enough to get the door apart and a replacement hinge from Amazon for my Maytag. It fit perfectly. But without your instructions, putting that Rubik cube back together again would’ve been impossible. As it was, Maytag doesn’t make it easy. bottom line doors repaired and saved $1500 maybe $2000. I know the repair man would have charged $500 too.

    I’m happy the video helped! And yeh, definitely would have been at least $500 bucks for the repair man to come out and fix. Thanks for watching!

    Funny, I watched this video to see how you got the slot on the hanger ball to go onto the mounting bracket properly, because it's giving me a world of trouble, and you totally skipped that part 😂 I'm going to guess that gave you the same amount of trouble huh

  • @daddoesvideos

    Huh. I don’t remember having an issue with that part. Are you aligning the ball so it fits into that little nub on the bracket?

    @@daddoesvideos apologies, it turns out that it was a manufacturer defect. I had to wideb the opening to the mount but about an 1/8 of an inch and it popped right in. A friend bought and assembled an NXT 54 portable goal. However, something went wrong because the backboard faced down 45 degrees no matter the height adjustment. I offered to take a look. Unfortunately, the assembly instructions were trashed so I turned to YT and your remarkable step-by-step assembly process. When comparing your assembled goal to this one, it became apparent that part 51, the highest section of the post, had been twisted 180 the degrees and resulting in the downward angle. After a couple hours of careful disassembly and frequent check-ins on your video, part 51 was twisted another 180 degrees, bolts and nuts were reconnected and the goal is ready for action. You saved the day. Thank you so much for this post!

    Do you have to tell Carmax that it is a leased car in the beginning? If not, when is it best to say that?

  • @daddoesvideos
    @daddoesvideos28 күн бұрын

    You can tell them whenever. It doesn’t matter. I will say, though, that a lot of leasing companies have stopped allowing consumers to sell leased cars like this. I’d just call your leasing company and ask if you are allowed to sell your leased car. Carmax would know, too.

    Does the hinge pin come out, how?

  • @daddoesvideos
    @daddoesvideos28 күн бұрын

    Typically, you can remove hinge pins with a flat-head screwdriver and a hammer. You just put the end of the screwdriver under the top of the pin and gently tap the end of the handle of the screwdriver with the hammer. You can remove the pins from some hinges, but not others. I haven't to remove them from the hinges I installed in this video.
