@@ratandeb1676 in this match Orange failed to adapt to Moxley style. After so many title defenses, Orange used same old mind games. And now he faced one of more vicious strikers in AEW. A world champion that adapt his style. First move of putting hands in pockets was a crucial mistake. Usually its his opponents that underestimate him. Now underestimated a former AEW World champion right there. And then it was just survival.

"They take away the thing that you love," Moxley said. The final straw, Moxley said, was a segment where he was supposed to get a rabies shot with a giant syringe during a promo. I can see how having 30 writers give you scripts all the time is frustrating. Especially when you are a creative person who loves to define the character yourself. Now as soon as Mox got the creative freedom, he started adding layers to what is Jon Moxley. This character is pretty unique. Intelligent brute, able to adapt to a competitive ever growing roster of young hungry guys. Not most athletic in ring, but a ruthless sadistic. Intimidating his opponents with sheer amount of pain he can take and still go. This is where his lack of defense skills come from. He didn't need defense, as long as he is the one attacking. Luring more athletic opponents into No Rules matches. Hiding his emotions from the roster so they wouldn't be able to play mind games with him. In the end MJF on his first chance at Mox, exposed how Moxley lacks technical defense skill. Moxley still managed to out cheat MJF. Then Eddie Kingston came to AEW. That is when Moxley showed he is not without feelings. Eventually Moxley lost the championship, as he couldn't keep up with the ever evolving roster. By that time he just started hanging out with Eddie, even tried to win Tag Team titles. But, as Mox said himself. His wife was pregnant at that time. He has to get back to the Top of the food chain in order to provide the best life to his daughter. That was when Mox was invited to form a training camp BCC with Danielson and Regal. Later Claudio joined, then Yuta was recruited. And as Claudio and Danielson disrespect Eddie Kingston, they call him lazy and a bum, wasted potential. Slowly Eddie and Mox found themselves on the opposite sides. You probably know how it went from there, the whole Mad King storyline culminating into Eddie winning the Continental Crown. Beating BCC, and then after Moxley lost to Eddie, he gave Eddie a friendly hug to congratulate. This whole storyline is made by Moxley. Only thing out of his hands is the pecking order. That is what Booker is responsible for. And that is based on the heat wrestler brings. Best heat usually is for great character work. Which is why AEW is so competitive.

Me too, just I did not thought Cody win was obvious. At that time AEW title reigns were pretty long and Brodie just won it. Later we found the reason for this title drop.

@@hauntsoulhorror4195 If you fall head first to the floor I am sure you there would be blood. As for it being overdone, I can agree with the nitpick. While it being a bad thing needs more reason than just being overdone. As overdoing it implies that it takes away something from the impact. While in AEW shock factor/impact comes from good story telling instead of just empty spots. And for Mox, blood is used to enhance a character more than a standalone match. While it also adds something to the match itself, the story that comes from the match is what carries the quality. If we leave this as a nitpick, instead of saying it's only a negative we can agree.
