I've been home brewing since January 2011 and have been trying different extract and partial grain kits. After does a bunch of extract batches I started getting the itch to try my hand at all grain. From there my interest for this hobby took off. Starting with a Home Depot cooler and slowly built an electric brewing system based on Theelectricbrewery.com. I have been brewing on an electric system in my basement since 2013. I love the easy of the brew days and escaping the Wisconsin cold.
My journey continues with new styles, brewing methods, DIY projects, and developing my craft into becoming a great brewer.

Where did you buy this I want one
Cool!
wow who knew -- wow
Spike has a newer lid gasket and clamp that should fix your leaking issue.
How did the open fermentation go ?
No spices added?
This dude ghosted his channel
if you were filling the can with water would you need to inject the co2 to keep it fresh
Hope your health is great. Also hope to see more videos. Know it's already been four years but hopeful
Pls can I have your direct mail ID ?
How can you "review" something without discussing cost??? So stupid!
Hello, trust all is well. Would you know how to pasteurize canned Kombucha?
Hi, very interesting information. Can I use this to can tea or only beer?
can we get a review of your crocs at some point
Hi guys. I just stunbled accross this Video. As I had luck last month and got a Wiskey Barrel, which had 12 years Single Malt in it. I want to age my imperial stout. Do you have some Tipps for me? I cannot fill the barrel right away. So what should I do to store the barrel? Should I wet (moisten) it from the outside on a regular Basis? Second question: did you fill the barrel from time to time when it looses liquid? Third: did you de-carb the beer before transfering it or even transfered it cold? Did you cold crash before to get mist yeast out or just transfered? Greetings from Germany!
Is it still working properly? Love to see a fallow up
ENJOY!!!!!!
Thanks for taking the time to make and post this video. While it is disappointing that it didn't turn out well, there is great value in learning from mistakes! You mentioned several times that you might try it next year... Did you ever make a second attempt?
OMG! You get tired of drinking but you keep going! I do miss NHC. Cheers Tyler!
The mead guys are awesome. I’ve hung out with them at every NHC I’ve been to. They make the best meads!
And watching again in 2021!!!
Update ??
Cheers we just subscribed we brew beer grow hops make wine and mead . Hope you sub back and stay thirsty .
Have you moved on to the Cannular or Oktober canner or still using this? The prices are almost the same as the manual. Hard to believe
can it be used with tuna cans?
You still brewing? Go pack!!
Thanks for this video, man. I actually work QC for a major beverage company and have never been able to watch the 1st and 2nd op's because our seamers push 1500 cans per minute! It's so simple!
Where do you buy the cans?
This was excellent. I appreciate the video!
Very nice video ... do they ship to India too ...
Hello...hope all is well. I am trying to make contact in hopes of getting an Everty growler. Do you have any left? I will gladly pay any costs involved. I live in Ohio. I see that you are a home brewer, but you took a hiatus to focus on your health. That's great and I hope that you are hitting your goals. If you happen to have any other swag or gear from Everty, please let me know. I left my contact information on your fb Everty page. Stay safe and well. Best Regards T.Stokes
Do you have a new link for this product?
do you find the hop screen is better or more consistent flavor or what advantage does it have? I have always dumped into boil kettle and then let conical deal with whats left, seem to have had good results but never used a screen container like you?
Wausau Wisconsin guy here. Great video. Definitely looking to get a canner. Never have enough toys
Great video. You're so calm. Thanks brother
Have you found a cheaper source for cans? Seems like that would be the long term expensive part.
Great video! Any chance of getting the dimensions of the bottom plate/ shelf and where the holes are drilled? I would like to do DIY. Thanks.
From my point of view a conical fermenter is a new way to part the average homebrewer from his money. Two brewing buckets costs £20 - a conical fermenter costs £80 minimum. And what does it do that two buckets can’t do? It removes SOME of the sediment whereas syphoning beer from one bucket to another leaves ALL the sediment behind. It saves you time??? Only if you don’t take the cleaning and sanitizing into the equation. I’m going to stick to buckets and tubing and spend my hard-earned money on INGREDIENTS not TOYS.
Graham Bunton there’s a huge difference between a unitank stainless pressure capable type fermenter vs a bucket. Pressure fermentation. Carbonation. Yeast harvesting. O2 avoidance. The list is endless. Do buckets make for an inferior beer? No. But they also provide more places for error than a stainless unitank. There’s a reason pro breweries all use this design. Control. Repeatability. Reliability
Ok. Thanks.
I watched these and finally canned my first cans of Homebrew. And it worked fantastic!! Thanks Brother
How you doing brother? Ever get back into brewing? What did you do with your Spike Conical??
What do you use for grease for maintenance?
So do u have any videos of u useing this fermenter and ur setups?.?
How does it heat? I got a upright freezer and the temp range is -20F to 20F. Would this warm the freezer to around 40F and maintain the temperature?
There is a plug for cooling and one for heating so you can have the freezer for cooling and a heat wrap, blanket, or something for heating. For fermentation, I had the heat wrap around the vessel and the freezer would only kick on as needed. Worked great for lagering.
So for fermenting beers at 65-70F, would the deep freezer still work? Or a fridge would be better?
I'm searching everywhere but can't find this can sealer. It's not on Amazon and I can't even find it on the company's website (WAFCO). Is it still available?
Are those 206 or 202 ends? I worked in the can making industry for 37 years until 2013 and we never sold cans to the public.
Sorry to post on such an old video but do you know where I can get a manual? I lost mine. Also, how many washers did you need for the 12oz cans? I lost my stack of washers (probably with the manual :/ ) Thank you!
I wan to buy this can seemer .
The amazon link doesn’t work. Is that the link to the canner?
patrick deslatte , we sell them on ebay now, not Amazon any more. Not right now at least. We used to. They are Awesome!
What about the 8oz. cans? The short ones... Awesome videos, thanks!
It can do those just fine too. Just need a longer pin and more washers.
