Are the seats more comfortable on the M4 Base than the M4 Competition??
I like the fact that a guy your age has such great appreciation for the cars of my era. I really like watching these vids and envy people who get to drive these cars today.
Ok so we're all gonna just try to act like Doug D?
Great review, very informative and detailed.
I wish you would find a different way to talk you sound so boring and fake it's really irritating I can't enjoy the car because of the way you talk I'm sorry but that's how it is
Great review. I had a 2006, LOVED IT! I’ve had 6 Cadillac’s. They all handles beautifully. Had 3 fleetwoods from 91 to ? And all amazing. The DTS handled fantastic easy to drive.
Ha! As you went to open the hood, I was thinking to myself, “man I will be impressed if he can open that 1 handed.”So I was not surprised when I saw you using both hands. as the owner of a 73’Caddy hearse I speak from experience.
this rim ruined this car
OK my friend I am a huge Oldsmoble fan. My father was a high level executive with Oldsmobile división of General motors. Toronado hit the market in 1966 not 1967 as my father worked on the project. 1966 nodel was revolutionary. However, the 1990's was the beginning of the end. The body styles got ugly, and looked cheap, as a matter of fact at the beginning of your video when you shut the door it sounded cheap and I may have heard a rattle (I use to work in Quality Control there). No disrespect. I appreciate your opinion & review. Thank you
Dood, that’s your dream car? Go buy one they don’t cost that much WTF brah? 🤨
I’m sorry I saw this late. I had a 2006 DTS. Purchased in may 2006. Drove it for 182,000 miles. For 6 yrs. Now driving a 2018 BMW 740. I’m happy with the BMW, however if I can get another DTS, I would be very happy.
Just saw this car and him today in my town. Got to talk to him for a quick second. Super nice guy!!
Love the Mercedes 600. I own a 300 SEL with the 6.3 which is the same motor in the 600 and has the air suspension. I searched for years to find the car and want to be buried in it.😂 Kiss- sim- me not Kiss-a-me!
Dumb shit , there's nothing mini about that boat 😂
The high pitched squeal is the fly back on the picture tube. I believe you can still repair them.
Supercharger yes, V8, yes but a Northstar, absolutely not. Those engines were a complete toilet.
I had a 2008 pearl white luxury three DTS. I love this car. It was my favorite car out of the 26 vehicles that I’ve owned in my life. But I couldn’t stop it from leaking oil so I had to get rid of it I was heartbroken.😢😢😢
that green interieur is fantastic. im no us citizen and i never seen this color. im blown away
I feel like the XLR is begging for a twin turbo set up instead of the supercharger but maybe I'm crazy
Amazing review
The ultimate road-trip car. If I’m driving from coast to coast I’m taking this or the roadmaster
What a massive car 👍🏻
What a fantastic review! 🌟 The Cadillac Fleetwood is such a classic, and I can't wait to see your detailed look at both the exterior and interior. Big thanks to Larry Swint for sharing his beautiful Cadillac! For those interested, there's also a great video on this Cadillac here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/eGhp0sOmhpDLhrw.html. Enjoy! 🚗📽
Jimmy Hoffa vibes What a beautiful American dinosaur 🦕 💎 Is there a 472 in it ? Dexter Lombardo 🤠🧔
I too sit in every seat of my car and touch every last feature prior to driving every day
Will the Cadillac has plastic on the inside your luxury foreign cars have plastic bumpers the Cadillac at least has a real chrome
An aftermarket cold air intake should spice up the supercharger sound if that is what you're looking for
I subscribed simply because you did such a great job on this video. Thanks.
Excellent video James! I love watching the auctions but your behind the scenes review was such a great treat. So glad to see you and your Dad having such a awesome time!
I'm so glad you enjoyed watching the video! We had an absolute blast :)
Great video! I love the 1963 Olds 98 and the 2009 blue Bentley!
Thank you very much, Dale! I think the blue Bentley was my favorite vehicle there. It exuded luxury and class!
All of what I am going to say is for the XLR and V model. As a former 2006 XLR owner, I can honestly say the XLR is a very cool car. Overall build quality is typical GM...average at best. The XLR looks awesome and angular...the C6 Vette should have looked so great. The XLR is not overly fast, but decently quick. The interior is typical GM...VERY cheap and plasticy if that makes sense. Nothing great by any means for an $80-$90k car when it was new. Don't ever...ever...ever damage or wreck a headlight, tail light or lower running light on this car. Because, you'll never find one new, they don't exist. They've been out of production for 10++ years and there are ZERO available at any GM or Cadillac dealership on planet earth. They're 100% gone and they are never coming back. There are none available in the after market either simply due to the very low production numbers of the car. Last new headlight I saw was on ebay going for $5,000...for one headlight. YES...$5,000. Car rides rough, but that's to be expected. The top is awesome. Handling is average. Much more wollowy than a C6 vette, but rides better also. Overall, just a fun car to drive. Don't think it's an uber fast sports car...it's not. You'll get smoked by a lot of modern cars with no problem. It's basically a car to cruise in and enjoy the day. I enjoyed mine tremendously and if you ever get a chance to drive one, you'll dig it.
Most of my 72 years my family owned mainly many Chrysler Imperial LeBarons and Cadillac limousines.
I owned a 96 Cadillac and I miss it. How much is this one?
Wish GM had put in an un-detuned LT1. Sure it would have required Premium, but it is a Cadillac.
love cadillac
So do I 😎
Love your videos dude!
Thank you SO much!
That Tesla truck is the ugliest vehicle ever made. I really don't understand how anyone would spend a penny on that monstrosity, lol. Either way, thanks for sharing this with us. Some of those old cars were amazing 🙂🙌
It was definitely the most unique vehicle there lol. Definitely a car that most people would buy to make a statement, not as an actual practical truck. You're very welcome, I'm glad you liked the video, Jeremiah!
I recorded the entire Mecum auction in Indy. This never gets old to me. Happy you and your dad got to experience this together! Great coverage James!
Agreed, I could walk around auctions full of cars for forever and never get bored! Thank you so much Lon, I always look forward to your comments 😁
Nice merch! Fun for you and dad 😊 🚘
Thank you! We had a great time together
31:46 The door switches of the Toyota Century say Rear Window opening, Rear Vent window opening (left), and Rear seat heater High/Low and Off (right).
Wow! Either you can read Japanese or you really know your Toyota Centuries. Thank you for the info!
I like that nobody was creeping out their hearses. Showing them the way they were ment to be shown. I myself own a 1977 Chrysler Town & Country hearse. Hope to have it at the Moper Nationals at national trails race ways out side of Columbus Ohio in 2024. The car has been of the road for over 30 years. Far as I know the car has 20 thousand actual miles on it. It's definitely a survivor but showing her age. One thing I like about the car it has a factory sun roof. Funny thing to find in a hearse, guess it was used to let the spirits out. Just kidding.
Thank you for this video!
What does the "CT" mean in CT6?
here in europe we love these cars with the marks to the comfort in these cars are so nice they float on the road
The last real Cadillac
I have one anybody wants to buy it 9500.00
Excuse me, I bought a car of the same style in Toronto, which is beige in color and produced in 2007. Can I ask if this car can be remotely started through the car key?
I started selling Cadillacs in 1977 😊
the Fleetwood this generation is my favorite caddy
My mom has one with somewhere around 10k miles.. things like a brand new car. Exact same color and everything as yours
