Hitchweb Tube

Hitchweb Tube

There's a million kilometres of road in Canada. If you head down any one of them for any length of time, you’ll end up nowhere. For some of us, nowhere is exactly where we want to be.

Hitchweb knows a weekend or a week on the road is not for everyone. It’s unpredictable. It can have flat tires, cold nights and wrong turns. The kids can fight, then make up, then fight again. But for Hitchweb customers, these are the moments that make great stories. We hear them all in our mission to offer truly Canadian service. We’re local people who will do whatever we can to help you and your family hitch up, roll out and drive on.

Hitchweb Gals Sophia and Chantel are here to teach you about installation, having fun, and products available at Hitchweb.com.

LMFAO one idiot took over this whole comment section.. he must not haul shit... he probably has never hauled shit in his life. i know thousand of people in Michigan a whole fucooking industries who haul trailer EVERY week and NOT 1 GREASE a ball and 15% of them are MILLIONAIRE and been doing this well before you were born... now a 5th wheel plate get grease every now and then. see I love youtube it allow me to fuoock with stupid people and see how little they know ABOUT REAL WORLD EXPERIENCE vs some book and office idiot wrote who don't have a clue.... since I deal with stupid on the internet my family life is stress free. i get to leave it all on the internet.... and here a quote off a website JOEEEEY .. disadvantages of greasing the hitch ball (trapping dirt and grime, dealing with the mess, etc.) and tell you it’s not necessary.......... how many mile u got towing kid... 1 or 2 million miles or your dad lets u back the trailer up in the yard... thanks Joe Joe for the fun.. i got a cousin name Joe for some reason that name comes with very little common sense. you and him could be brother. weeeeeee have a great life wiping grease off your cloths everytime u walk into stupid.. for fuock sake even my 12 year old daughter know about dirt and crap a grease ball gets.. unless your one of them faggggget guys who always pull the ball off because u only use it 1 every 3 years. were we use our EVERYDAY... EVERYDAY... THAT = EXPERIENCE .... GOOD LUCK DUMBASSSSSS

For all the idiots out there making the argument about getting grease on your pants: Shut up. What an asinine reason that is to not perform a needed piece of maintenance when towing. What are you going to do, stop putting oil in your engine because you don’t want to have to change it? Stop eating and drinking because you don’t want to have to use the bathroom? Those arguments would be just as foolish. You don’t skip necessary bits of maintenance just because you might get grease on your pants if you’re totally careless around your hitch. Next time, remove the damn thing if you don’t have a trailer hooked up. See how easy that solution is, instead of being a dumbass?

Great job! I have a hitch just like that and am getting ready to set it up for a different vehicle. While I’ve used it on several different trailers that were the same height, I’ve never set it up on a new tow vehicle with a much different height. I think I can flip it over and use it again. I appreciate the tips.

Weight distribution hitches can cause the tongue to be overloaded and collapse . I will not use one again . Instead I will use Airbags or an overload spring.

Warning to RV owners ; Your trailer frame is very likely to break under normal usage . I suggest you inspect your frame in the vicinity 4 ft in front of the first Axle and 4 ft behind the last axle as well as the spring shackle welds for cracks . These cracks are caused by sharp turns backing into spots or pulling out of places. All that popping you hear is your frame flexing and breaking. 5th wheel owners the same thing but the transition from Goose to the main part of the trailer breaks . Any deformation or opening of cracks , buckling crushing of the area of the pinbok indicates broken frame members and an immediate repair before major damage occurs .
