Hello there! Long time broadcaster here. Master Control, IT, and Engineering. Recently started directing the news back at my home station which is a small one man directing operation using a program called vMix. Really cool to see how its done in a bigger market.

Usually the teleprompter is exactly the same as the script. They also use the scripts to practice before they're on the air.

Very nice. Calm and relaxed. I would have liked to have heard director more with the PGM audio lower… And instead of thee SIDE view of the director, I would have liked to be able to see the rack of monitors a little better. Also, are this CG’s changing and transitioning automatically? Does the newsroom system control the CG’s through the switcher somehow? Thanks!

It's been defined as a hybrid, which often happens in summer events. The lines here between landspout and full on tornado are completely blurred due to it having characteristics of both. The infamous Jarrell tornado I believe was defined as a hybrid. The Harper and Duquoin KS EF3's from 5/19/12 were also hybrids.

I mean it was a half of a mile wide, just looks significantly smaller because the LCL's (lifting condensation level, practically the cloud height) is so damn tall. El Reno is also on the edge of the scale, you typically don't see large tornadoes breach the mile wide mark.

So as someone who moved from oregon to south dakota I can say that most people who live here use general american accent unless they came from another state that uses an accent. You really shouldn't just assume something on a whole level based on such a small percentage shown

Let me get this straight A tornado spun up, it sat nearly in the same spot while God contemplated whether or not to destroy these peoples lives And he ended up deciding not to and so he let you guys live?
