What year is this Chevy Cruze? I have a 2015 that is having a similar issue especially when filling up my gas tank (happened this week at Costco the day before the fourth, I was embarrassed and worried). But, I’m still experiencing rough idling when starting, that’d be a different issue im assuming? I’ll be trying this fix regardless!

@@ohLEONINE 2011, but it should have the same exact symptom in any modern car. I had a 2004 CRV that did the same exact thing a couple years later. Same fix. For your rough idle … this fix can be the problem, if that continues after - check your plugs and especially coil pack.. they are common to fail in the Cruze. I actually filmed that fix too. Had the same problem. (But they occurred years apart) Link: kzread.info/dash/bejne/gGST0aWHicrKdJc.htmlsi=0lMzjxxjPtN9D8WW Best of luck, hope you get her fixed!

Wire wheel, flap disk, orbital sander, mouse for corners, sanding block if ya need to sweat however you typically sand steel smooth on a steel project works. Get her done and then soak her down with lube. Preferably not KY and then smoke her in tight. Gosh this sounds like a great spring project. Wish I could do it at least once a week. The two main problems, with this type of mower is the hard steering and the belt keeps coming off, I finally found the fix to both of these issues that keep happening,, after trying almost everything, and that repair is to purchase a zero turn, it fixed both of the problems instantly, and the problem never came back, it was a permanent repair. 😎👍

I just pulled my mower into the shade to cool off because after I stopped to pick up golf balls littering the yard, it seemed to have half the power up hills even though the tires weren’t spinning and the engine wasn’t dogging down. I figured grass was packed in there, but this wasn’t going to be the first spot I checked.. until now.

God created the world to clean itself, of course you don’t want to INTENTIONALLY pollute the environment like throwing old tires etc. But if that tire is chopped up it will deteriorate over time….everything turns back to dust….just the way it always has. When you pay for a gallon of gasoline you just paid about .60 cents PER GALLON!!!! 3 taxes. 1. Federal tax 2. State tax 3. Local tax. Where is all the money going? Good question!!! It sure isn’t going for FREE recycling!!!! Most people do not intentionally try to pollute, but when the government gets involved now they (businesses) charge for recycling tires. Every time you buy a new tire they charge a disposal fee. So what do the poor folks do? You guessed it….they avoid the recycling fee by taking the old tire home and then chucking it!!! Instead of the government (which the people supposedly run) recycling for free they charge money. There is the problem. Every time you get government involved to solve our problems it never works out.Ever. It’s still WE THE PEOPLE RIGHT?

Cars and trucks should have that arrangement; makes the load on your power steering pump or your arms (non power steering) so much less. Also to make steering your mower even better, while carrying your beverage along, do what I did with the landlord's John Deere rider and put a "Brodie knob" on the wheel. for vehicles it would be necessary for the manufacturer ( initial design, fat chance ?) or an owner to do machine work, for needed clearance, to allow a SEALED bearing arrangement to be installed.

I used a 4 1/2 inch flapper disc (40 grit) on an angle grinder. This will strip that rusty surface down to shiny metal in no time. Use a wire wheel for the perimeter and a small wire cup for the corners. The first time I did this I used only a wire wheel. It was a pain and took a long time. Using the flapper disc cut the job in half.

Good overall video but the fact is; Tire pressure setting is on the door jamb sticker and its defiantly not 38, I believe its 32/30 on that Model Year. That will make a difference in how the VSA module determines whether is getting low based on rotation of the tire
