If it’s got wheels and an engine.. there’s a good possibility I’ll be taking it apart or have in the past!! Stick around.. You may learn something or you’ll see me break something!

I have three 1995 Saturn coops, picked up one with 300 K miles by Kansas City four years ago, super clean underneath, then one with 65K miles, a little bit of rust underneath, and I just recently picked one up that looked mint, like it just drove out of the dealership, but being from Chicago, has some rust underneath but fixable-all original owner cars

I bet the Honda is cheaper to maintain than the Jeep. :)

Yes.. but it’s a lot easier to remove the Top and Doors off the Jeep.

Thanks for the comment! It was a lot of work! Sadly no other way to get the heater box out. This is the proper procedure for this year Wrangler.

You stripped the whole jeep just to get to the heater core ? Not even the mechanic I consulted ( Jeep specialist) said he’d have to do that.

Book time on this repair is 12 Hours. Plus it’s a very common issue with Jeeps

How come you didn't match with JLs for the woofer too? Congrats on a clean look.

Thanks for the comment! My goal with this build is to use all the old equipment that’s been collecting dust in my basement for years now! If I had a JL sub I would have probably used it. Thank for watching.

WOW amazing skills man, these turned out so good. I am in desperate need of these dash speaker bezels and the door baffles but don't think I can make them. Do you have any plans of selling a kit in the future? these would fly off the shelves, 986 and 996 are becoming popular again but not a lot of cool parts available for them :(

Dude, you should've got the KnuKonceptz OFC power/ground wire. The CCA (Copper Clad Aluminum) version that you got is junk! Hence the cheap price tag as opposed to it's OFC counterpart. CCA gets too hot too quick, current transfer is inefficient which equates into bigger voltage drops ie dimming lights when the bass hits & more blown fuses You'd need 3 runs off 4 gauge CCA to equal what you'd get in a single run of OFC. Like the old saying goes...you get what you pay for.

I had one of these several years ago, basic SL model. It ate oil, but otherwise it never let me down, even on long trips, everything worked. Plus, I never had to worry about it being stolen ))

Nice build! I'm doing the exact same thing right now with an 88 marathon. Was looking for some inspiration videos. Thanks for posting. I was wondering if you could get away without fabbing up a new rear frame to fit the back TXT body?

Thanks for the videos. Much respect, no wonder it's such an expensive job. If I were to make a video, I'd include all the little details as you did. I hate trying to figure out all those little clips and disconnects. Two minutes into you needing to remove the battery tray I knew I'd be doing the hack job. Nice garage also.

Great videos on the Porsche! I have a 2000 996 cab that I'm going to be upgrading the audio system soon. Are you using the door as the enclosure for the 6.5" door speakers or do you have a factory enclosure behind your mount/baffle? I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product.

Following your project very closely as I have a very similar car, 99 model , owned since new and I’m also contemplating a system upgrade. It will be very helpful to see the do’s and don’ts of your install. Thank you for posting. My plan was nothing too drastic, keeping it vintage with original Porsche radio /cassette/ CD changer but adding a new hertz amp and some rear shelf speakers. My fronts are techart 3 way speakers mounted in the doors and dash. I believe they used MB quartz . Would be interested if u have plans for a subwoofer or not! Is there even space! Thanks u and best of luck with your upgrades.
