I worked with her around 1974 at a concert in Seattle. She was very popular at the time and still took the time to greet 'n meet the crew. It was an outsanding concert.

My 2008 was burning about 1 1/2 quarts of oil in a 5000 mi oil change interval. I did the piston soak procedure twice for 24 hrs using Berrymans B-12, flushed the oil very well in between. After changed plugs and poured in Valvoline Restore & Protect and now it burns zero oil! The oil control rings get plugged with carbon on these engines. If your cylinder walls aren’t scuffed, you can usually make a huge improvement with a piston soak.

Cleanest dirty song ever! I was six or seven when it came out and certainly remember it back then. I remember a lot of the adults thought it was hilarious all us kids were singing along but wouldn't explain why.

Just love this song. Didn't really know what it meant back when, but it was very unique and "catchy". Only when I recently sang it at karaoke did I want to know more about how it came about and what it was about. I love it even more now!

This is an amazing song with great harmonies, the summer of 76 was a long hot one in the UK and this was always playing on the radio I loved it then and still love it now, it brings many happy memories back. As for worst song, well that just a load of 🐂💩.

I always thought the song would make a good premise for a movie - the local sailors all harmlessly flirt with Brandy but know her heart belongs to one in particular, who himself loves only the sea. Then one day bad guys ransack the town and kidnap Brandy, causing The Sailor to realize he actually loves her more. So then The Sailor and a ragtag group from the town set out to rescue Brandy. Throw in some “Taken” style justice then The Sailor and Brandy sail off together, so The Sailor gets the sea AND Brandy. A swashbuckling sea adventure, a love story, some kick-ass action, and a great theme song!
