Hello, my name is Jan Hammer. A child of the Basque community in Boise, Idaho I have spend much of my working life in television. Though I love music I am not the Jan Hammer of Miami Vice fame. I do admire his work however. A wannabe guitar picker I once told a friend "I want to learn to play in the worst possible way". He replied "you already do". I am now retired and live wife in Grand Junction, Colorado, USA. Editors note: Many, if not most, of the descriptions or the songs and/or artists heard here are taken from Wikipedia.

She looks so young and sweet that is how we' ll remember her.
Very, very intimate. Extremely romantic and Kim was mighty hot.
I have a feeling Taylor doesn’t even know how true this song is
Just love him sadly missed
I'm in my 60s, it was one of the first songs me & my Dad sang together, He had a Beautiful Italian Voice❤😊 I was 3 & he recorded us.❤ Carl Sprague first did this, I remember Woody Guthrie too.
It's fitting that John Hartford is looking over their shoulders there.
I always laughed that his wife gave him a sandwich every day, rather than the nickel he needed. She kept him down there on purpose!
She's got a million dollar smile that could melt your heart! ❤

Loved this song ever since the first time I heard it as a kid... poignant sentiments increased with all life's love tribulations, esp when life herself throws at ya amazing significant loves that never ends, to know exactly who is our true love...for we'd only know for sure at the end of our lives.
Best version of this classic.
What happened to America...
Beautiful!
Joni Mitchell is one of the best songwriters ever. The main reason why she doesn’t get mentioned as much as men is simply because she’s not a man & her lyrics are so moving. Incredible.
¡ Fabuloso...! 🤣🤤😎💪
Going with a non stop galloping rhythm that's heavier than the heaviest heavy metal.
Classic
MacColl was from Salford, near Manchester. Not from Scotland.

“these days your face, in my memory…is in the frozen hands of grace against these times…” I don’t think I really understood those words until she became a beautiful memory
I've listened to Herb since I was a kid growing up in a late 80s but I never knew that he was behind this tune, bravo 👏🏼
Damn he was fast on those strings.
His notes are more interesting than the ones we usually hear.

Happy 🎉day dearest Nanci
Last verse "The first time ever I lay with you" has been "cleaned up" to "The first time ever I held you tight".
This was my time
Al gran Julio Iglesias es prácticamente imposible imitarle el timbre de voz, pedazo de artista, punto aparte es ese cautivante y melódico coro de voces.
Haven’t heard this one for many years……brilliant
Such beautiful harmonies made me tearful❤
Notice the tenor guitar is capo-ed up high, so it sounds like strumming a mandolin.
Singers like this bring more joy to the world than the whole bunch of politicians

Like watching a man on a tightrope. An amazing performance.
My heart melts when I hear this performance. It just reaches in and holds it in its tender hands.
She's awesome. As good as Sinatra.
My late husband, rhodes reason, appeared in summer stock in the play. He was in his 20's. He thought that William Holden was too old for the part. I did not agree. Rhodes went on to Broadway to plsy Daddy Warbucks in Annie! William Holden was magnificent!
A favorite…lovely 🎶❤️
This song touches a deep, deep place. The looks on the audiencees’ faces😢❤
No doubt Joni is the most talented musician/song writer ever. No body else comes close.
