Hi, this is a great video and a very well set up van. Does the diesel heater use fuel from the vans tank or does it have a separate tank?
@DanielleGlick Жыл бұрын
Thanks! It uses fuel from the main van tank, which is great so you don't have to worry about putting a smelly diesel tank inside or spilling it on your stuff. I run the heater all night and the van's fuel gauge is still in the same spot in the morning. 🙂

I'm very close to buying a Toyota Previa here in the USA. the only one I can find in good condition without 1 million miles on it, doesn't have the sun/moon roofs unfortunately. But I may still pick it up. The other option are imported Estima from Japan, but they are more expensive and occasionally have quite a bit of rust on the undercarriage.
@opinionatedartist Жыл бұрын
Very nice! The only things I would change are the placement of the fire extinguisher which would be hard to reach if there was a fire on the stove and the place where you keep your purse which should not be in easy reach if someone broke in from the front while you are in the back 😊
@DanielleGlick Жыл бұрын
Thanks. I do move my purse to the back when I'm sleeping and take it with me when I leave. It only stays in the front bin so I can reach it while I'm driving. 🙂

Scary storm! I was with my 3 year old daughter spending the day at North Park Mall...it was really sunny out or supposed to be all day...got up to the food court and in the distance, we say this large grey cloud coming towards us...thought maybe just a regular Texas thunderstorm...I would say about 15 mins later we heard what sounded like glass breaking and a few people were screaming...my daughter was getting restless so we decided we were done for the day...luckily we rode on the dart bus because I had a pit feeling in my stomach to leave the car at home...we walked outside and it was just pounding everything...me and my daughter got pelted with a few waiting...we got to the bus stop right as it was calming down a bit...later turned on the news...found out it had destroyed cars and buildings...it was bad everywhere but North Park was one of the places that got hit hard...the noise we heard was the skylights breaking and the hail coming inside the building...scary stuff but hey that's what you get when you live in the great state of Texas:)

@DanielleGlick2 жыл бұрын
Yes! The Toyota Estima is the Japanese version of the Previa that was sold in North America. I read the Estima is slightly smaller than the Previa to circumvent some sort of Japanese vehicle taxation law that taxed vehicles over a certain size. When I was 16, I actually learned to drive on my parents' 1990s Toyota Previa in the US, and then I ended up owning it’s cousin as a campervan in New Zealand!
