Wild question and idk if you’ll reply but would it be feasible to bake the tail light instead of using a heat gun, the only reason I would think not too is the led circuit board in the tail light housing, again if you don’t have an answer that’s understandable because I don’t think either of us are experts on circuits
@1Jackpulley17 күн бұрын
@@fr0sty_melonz you could, maybeeeee? altho yeah that would be heating the whole thing and could cause the lens to melt and as you said the circuit board possibly also to melt, the good thing about the heat gun is you technically get the lens close to melting but just enough for the glue to become liquid and then it’s enough, i suppose you could try baking, but just at not too much heat

Bro take that trash intake off ur Z. You can get an HPS for $140 USD. And you left half the stock intake installed. That open tube under your filter leads to a resonator/silencer in the bumper. Thats 5lbs of dead plastic now... lazy AF
@1Jackpulley2 ай бұрын
it’s the same thing as the hps one, there both just cone filters, the tube underneath does not lead to a resonator, the resonator was part of the stock intake, that tube is simply just a little extra airflow and is worth keeping. please do not spread misinformation, alongside with this being left hand drive & Japanese variants.

Not an expert but I’m pretty sure this just increases the amount of air the engine can hold, but the air intake is still stock sending the same amount of air resulting in a slight difference but not much. Still worth doing on its own, but pair this with an after market air intake and the increase in power is so good you’ll have “a whole new car”, or so I’ve read on the forum. And vise versa, new air intake on its own is good but new air intake and new intake manifold is great. Pretty sure tuning the ecu to increase the rev limiter and air intake can make these results even better, but I’m also pretty sure that would mean you would have to increase fuel input to match the air and pretty sure that means you need new fuel injectors.
