    Wow! I need that bag except that it doesn’t have wheels but it can fit under the wheel chair.

    True, I took a day trip; I wanted to see some clear water. I wanted to get on a plane and just fly away for a day-no itinerary, no one saying my name. Just be peaceful. I plan to do it again.

    That sounds so freeing. Especially if it’s solo travel. You do what you want, when you want. I love this for you!

    Your videos convinced me to get a portable monitor, but damn that extra 2.5 lbs feels like a ton of bricks to carry! But absolutely worth it. 😂

    lol I’m still fighting that same battle with myself. Every other trip I skip it and wish I had the monitor because I work faster with it, then the next trip I carry it and think it’s not worth the weight.

    Awesome detailed video! Was looking at a new carry on luggage and this video just happened to appear today as well. Will be picking this one over the Beis, Quince, and Level8 competitors.

    I am a "seasoned"(senior) citizen and I'm travelling more than ever before. I love cruising, so after many cruises, I have learned a few things. I can't lift a carry on up to the bin on a plane, so I check my main bag. But, I've had flight problems, so my personal item bag has to hold what I'd need for a day or so. Toiletries, a ziplock bag of laundry on the go, my meds (prescription and OTC), a change of clothes (or 2) and in flight necessities are a must. I have just switched to a rolling under seat bag that is so much easier on my back and joints than carrying a large tote. It still has the sleeve to fit on the larger suitcase, so it's easy to navigate in the airport. It worked to England and Scotland for 10 days last summer, and on a 7 day cruise in the spring. Off again in a few months!

    Hi 👋🏾 you are, I was trying to get most of my stuff in the backpack because I prefer carrying things on my bag rather than having to use my weak arms, lol, but I got there eventually with putting a laptop, toiletries, and tech in the car personal item. It saved my sanity in the end 🤣

    Ok here is my trauma FIRST….. I HATE THE PACKING CUBES NO one should even use them here’s why🙄‼️>>>>>THEY TECHNICALLY-TAKE UP SPACE yes u heard me right think of it this way IF you pack your clothes the normal way roll them up etc etc they will be the same dimensions square wise the same as the cubes🙄🙄DO YOU HEAR ME, IF you fold your clothes and put them in place of a cube ITS THE SAME DIFFERENCE THEY STILL TAKE UP SPACE especially if you use at least four ‼️‼️‼️‼️🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 Forgive me for freaking out but I know now when I’m right the cubes are just a gimmick PLUS if you stuff the cube to the rim they will be just as heavy as if you didn’t use them do to the same amount of clothes in the cubes either way YOU DONT WIN‼️ 2nd >>>>>>>>>This past Nov I went to Germany going through Munich NO issues going there then off to Hamburg NO issues the problem occurred when leaving Hamburg 😭😭😭😭🙄🙄🙄They wouldn’t let me on the plane I had my carry on they forced me to weigh it at the gate it was to be checked I had my purse plus two small bags that were to go under the seat in front of me they told me I HAD TOO MUCH STUFF I almost started to cry I got stuck there an extra day into the next went back to the hotel was mortified yet saved I was able to sleep on the lobby couch 🙄🙄🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️😭😭😭luckily I have friends and family who helped me get back home I didn’t have enough money to check my bag until I was granted with funds on my debit card plus then was able to check my bag but even the stuff would have fit under the seat they weren’t having it🤬🤬🤬🤬 BE CARFUL HAMBURG IS WAY MORE STRICT THAN MUNICH. So many pack normal but to us the bag isn’t that heavy but the airport will say it is most airlines will allow 18 to 22 or so pounds to bring on board with you god forbid if you go over by one digit 🙄🙄🤦🏼‍♀️They don’t care I know it was my fault for not having enough money but I thought it would be ok since I passed through Munich with NO problem it was crazy Needless to say I still had to throw out dirty laundry lost a good bra🤦🏼‍♀️🙄🤣🤣 And it was a mess let alone throwing away a pair of sneakers well I learned my lesson after seeing many videos recently I will start packing very light with me now being forced to wash my clothes wherever I am 🙄🙄, That being said your still wasting money with now having to buy shampoo towels laundry detergent etc etc especially if your in one country but traveling by plane to different areas 🙄🙄🙄🤬🤬🤬‼️THIS IS BS, and it’s all the Airlines fault screw the 311 trust me if a terrorist wants to do something they will they don’t need a big bottle of shampoo to do it🙄🙄🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️🙄🙄 They need to eliminate the 311 small bottle BS this would make a world of difference The only part of traveling is the heavy stress of going through the airport Many things should start changing at this point Plus I always try not to check my bag due to twice international trips coming home with missing wheels and cracks in my bag , I will now going forward buy cloth cloth is ugly not cute but I rather look like an 90s girl and have it in tact 😉Plus I’ve had things stolen in route and I don’t want my bag to get lost my worst fear🙄 And MY BIGGEST GRIPE IS 90 % of carry in bags look big to the gate attendants even though they rent and you’ll be dam lucky to get on the plane if you try to keep your carry on rolling behind you and not expand it and IF your lucky they won’t make you weigh it I got away with doing this a few times especially if you stay close to others to not be too noticed it might work but these attendants these days are really cracking down 🙄‼️ My solution buy a really good big purse I have a miu miu I just bought and it’s really over sized you can get a huge amount of things in it so if you can find a semi oversized Handbag plus a small duffle like bag you’ll be ok

  • @FlirtingWithTravel
    @FlirtingWithTravel18 күн бұрын

    I would think so. I looked up the Herschel small wallet, and with it being just a card carrier it should allow room for all 3. But even if you add other items to the interior, the phone would definitely fit on the exterior mesh pocket.

  • @starcre8erify
    @starcre8erify21 күн бұрын

    it's not necessarily that people are lying but more that people have different goals and needs when they're packing for a trip - for example, you brought two laptops for work reasons, but when I travel on vacation I don't bring any tech - at most I will bring my ipad for reading - because I'm a student, I'm not working when I travel, and I personally treat those vacations as a time to get offline as much as possible! I'm also not someone who's really into fashion which means I can wear the same scarf and shoes with every outfit and not have it bother me, I don't pack makeup because it's not something I enjoy, etc. I honestly think climate and travel goals make the most difference. a suitcase to a colder country in winter where you'll be doing outdoor activities (hiking, etc) will be much much heavier than a bag to a warmer city where you'll be going to museums. ultimately tl;dr you just gotta do what works best for you and sometimes that means checking a bag lol

  • @FlirtingWithTravel
    @FlirtingWithTravel21 күн бұрын

    I should probably specify. I think most KZreadrs who pack carryons full of multiple pairs of shoes, hairstyling tools, and toiletry bags full of makeup are not being truthful in their content about traveling to Europe with just a carryon. It can definitely be done. By the end of the video, I saw that for myself. But some new traveler watching some of these videos is going to get stuck having to pay crazy bag fees at the airport because they got told that told they could pack their whole wardrobe in a carryon and be fine. That’s they myth I’m hoping to dispel But I love hearing first hand experience of people like you who’ve mastered traveling light!

    I know I'm commenting late, but my top tip is: Buy a stuffed neck pillow with a zipper (not the inflatable kind). Then before a flight, I take the fluff out and re-stuff it with tank tops, yoga pants, whatever can get crumpled up. I have managed to cram 2 leggings, 3 tops, and a couple pairs of thin socks that way. I roll through security with the neck pillow hanging off my purse or on my neck and have never been questioned about it. Have even made it through those small budget airlines with their ridiculously tiny weight limits and had zero problems.
