Finally I watch the series as it was recommended from people in the cdrama comments.Yes it is one of the best period/historical drama.I thought at first it's a love story but the more I watch the series I realized it's actually about betrayal,greed and power.The love story is just the icing of the cake.The ML or li chingyi is a scumbag.She saves him and he threatened her when he wakes up and lied and decieved her about his true identity.He massacre xiaofeng family and destroy the place she love and beheaded her grandfather and killed her master in front of her even when she beg him.He cause so much pain and suffering and even make xiaofeng forever guilty because she is the one brought him to her beloved danchi.So is this love if this is what you call love it's better for women to commit suicide like what xiaofeng did at the finale.Where in the series did the ML made a grand gesture to show his love.All of those sweets actions are petty but yes it looks so sweet and romantic.The FL true love shows when she stab him but can't kill him after he did all those bad things to her.She can't make herself take the revenge that she badly needed to pacisified the guilt and suffering she carries in her memories.So yes she finally made her revenge by commiting suicide.She finally extract the promised from li chingyi not to attack her nation but judging from his scumbag behavior I'm doubting if it last long and yes she successfully made him feel the pain and suffering of loosing her and the regret that he can't do anything while watching her commit suicide.The heart wrenching death scene that is so sad to watch that.For me it's a fitted ending to the series!

Còn mình nào giờ chỉ nghe tiếng là nó ngược giống châu sinh như cố. Nghe là biết phim hài dữ dội nên k dám xem. Gần đây u mê trần tinh húc mới can đảm xem.. phim này TTH đóng đỉnh thật

19年在kindle上看到推荐买了小说电子版，当时没发现是因为改编剧版要出了，但是正好在清明节晚上熬夜一口气看完小说。从上元节遥遥望见城楼上的太子与良娣时就哭得泪眼模糊，后半段更是虐得胸闷腹痛。五年后终于刷完了剧版，补了许多小枫视角之外的故事，些许人物较之原著也有些改动，看完感觉更好理解这个故事了。已经知道整个故事的走向，还是虐得那么难受…一整个五一假期都没走出来…
Li Chengyin started as a hero of the show and ended as a final villain. Only Xiaofeng could defeat him in the end.
