  Thank you, I wish for Krita to take a direction towards this kind of workflow or similar (the pie menus and the multi-actions with one shortcut are specially good). Hope you get notice by the team or someone that could take this further into development!

  I just do pixel art and photobashing as a side hobby and just watching and testing all these features is so amazing to me. Even the simplest feature of scrolling through isolated layers is fantastic, much appreciated and great work.

  For me, the pie menus open when pressing the assigned key and close when pressing the key again. Was this changed or do I have something setup wrong? EDIT: Ok, it toggles when I have my pen away from my tablet (an old Wacom Intuos Pro Medium).

  Would you happen to know if there's a way to achieve similar effects in a Photoshop brush as with the Krita animated brush where it creates a random sequence of predefined shapes?

  as someone switching from blender to krita, this is very helpful. Glad to know we can make delicious donuts in krita. but sad to see that there is no default cube in krita.

  DUDE, i've been looking for FOUR HOURS. For real, i had this plugin in my old instalation. Now that I'm setting up this new pc i was like "what was the name of that thingy...?" I kept looking for "Krita Plugins, Krita Addons, Krita Brush Selection add on". My idiotic brain didn't thought in looking for "Pie Menus" kek.

  Hi. You made fabulous job! But I have a request for you. I was trying to modify your plugin a little bit to be able controll brush rotation. By modifying actions.actions and actions.py I managed to add second hotkey in Mouse Trackers section, which controlls Opacity and Flow, I also try to change original one (Brush size and opacity), but when I replace opacity with BrushRotationController and try run Krita, it gives me error at start and plugin dont work. Maybe I should modify some other files to make it work or brush rotation not supported?

  Yes, that's intentional. You are supposed to find those that fit you best - ideally easily reachable with your non-dominant hand

  There was a bug when i remove brushs from the pie. I try first to reupload the pie menu but it didn't work. Today, i don't why (probably some kind of magic) it's work again. I was very scared. I think i'm pie addict, i should go to consult. 😅😅

  Is there a way to swap the directions of the "scroll brush size or opacity?" I want to increase brush size by moving vertically rather than horizontally.

  Hi again, for temporary tools, I was wondering is it possible for you to implement that to specific brushes? For example, while painting, I'd have a smoother workflow if it were possible to assign a blending or smudge brush to a temporary keyboard shortcut, and after releasing I can continue painting again with my previously selected painting brush

  It's possible to hack the plugin to switch between two presets, but not to switch back to the previous one - as that would require remembering the state, and is that easy to track once you have multiple shortcuts like this. Still it's something I considered at the very beginning, and may be worth revisiting at some point.

  I can't wait to become an artist with a reliable source of income, because I really want to donate to Krita!!!! Krita is seriously the best drawing tool I have ever used. I used to use torrented softwares, but now I prefer krita over all of them because it's so much more intuitive. When I'd first started using krita, I had so many complaints, but they faded away with every update, and now I only use Krita for drawing.

  Been with Krita since 2016. Scolding it, hating it, using it. But never even once considered getting back to Photoshop. I encourage every artist to participate in this community and back it with a buck - as much as you can. The guys are doing a great job.

  No, I don't have any color picking pies, as there are plenty of that in krita already. I'd have to recreate the whole picker fron scratch, so That would be a lot of work with very little gain.

  You can change sensitivity of all the trackers at once in krita topbar: Tools > Scripts > Configure Shortcut Composer > Tracker sensitivity scale. If you need to change this one thing alone, you have to go: Settings > Manage Resources > Open Resource Folder > pykrita > shortcut_composer > actions.py (open the file in any text editor), and then search (ctrl + F) for "Scroll canvas zoom or rotation", and increase the "sensitivity_scale" of the lower section related to zoom. Make sure to restart krita after editing the file.

  I wanted to animate in Krita cuz I'm already used to it but since the audio is so painstakingly irritating when I couldn't animate a lip sync I gave up and never tried it anymore.. this is a huge change for me !!! thank you Krita!!!!!

  As a android krita user its so goog to know that krita will come with ffmpeg embeded, currently theres no way to export mp4 directly from android. I was vibing so much when you showed the new improvements in text, can't wait to use this features in the future.

  Yes, I believe, that you should finally be able to export videos on Android - I think that was the main goal behind this change. And yes - krita really deserves a proper text toll, so let's hope everything goes fine there :)

  It's a beta for testing, not a stable release. Releases do not update automatically unless you bought krita from an online store like steam.
