LOWER THE RIM! WNBA popularity will explode! More eyes on the games and butts in the seats = $Billions more in revenue. Why is the ball smaller? Why is the line closer? The NBA finals used to be shown on tape delayed broadcasts. 3 things changed the league’s fortunes. Better marketing? An influx of new stars (Bird/Magic), and rule changes allowing dunks and more “above the rim” play. LOWER THE F***ING RIM! I’ll actually watch.
