  i've got an M2 2017 pre-LCI, i dont have any options for activate carplay, i have to buy it on bmw store and they want 300$ but i guess is the 60% half screen version. Is there any way to get the full screen apple car play for my infotaiment?

  Let me ask you this, I own a 2010 Toyota Yaris and it tends to take off very slow at a red stop, to the point that I get honked at, for not picking up speed as quickly as it should, but there is no check engine light, and the car even passed smog under those same circumstance, so my question is, will this device diagnose the problem? and if so, what icons options should I click on off the screen or should I focus on or which if not just one?

  It would only diagnose things that come from a check engine light showing up. Is this a stop light at the bottom of a hill that this happens at?

  @@Shouldigetit2 Engine barely starts revving slowly from any red light or stop, and then it get momentum but in the mean time I got people honking at me to move faster

  How often have you had to drain it? I have the same 12K btu model. I keep the drain hose connected feeding into a bucket for a constant drain. But wondering if I shouldnt. You ever have to drain the very bottom drain?

  I have NEVER drained the bottom, I also don't use the dehumidifier feature at all.

  Thanks for taking the time to reply! I wondered if the bottom was for the dehumidifier, I haven't ran it myself yet either, I'm in Ohio so the AC does enough work. I have learned though, do not just let the drain run into a bucket. It will flow over. I keep it closed until the AC says FT on the display, then I empty it. Been going on almost 2 months, and I love mine.

  I have the same ac for 5 year, but now it’s giving me troubles. When I connected it ⚡️ it would start right away, but I can’t control it manually or remotely. The only way it shuts down is when I disconnect it. What could be wrong? It still works but I can’t change mode or do anything 😢

  @@Shouldigetit2 Can’t recall but I had the same issue. I liked the idea of their unique curved cut at the bottom, and I ordered my usual size, but it hung a little too low and looked ridiculous.

  ShouldIgetit2 - when you reset the Bluetooth controller, did you have an assistant? Did they hold the reset button in for 10-seconds and keep holding the reset button while you turned the car off and back on, and then they held it for another 2-seconds before releasing it? Or, did you hold the reset button for 10-seconds and then release it and then you turned the car off and back on, before you pushed the reset button again for 2-seconds? I wasn’t sure which one you did.

  My car was already on 12 Deg but I set it to 14 and premium gas, I definitely noticed the difference.. it accelerates smoother and faster. Its well documented by enthusiasts, for every degree advanced the torque peak lowers by 100 RPM, HP gain is hit and miss tho.. depends on the motor but some claim up to 10HP with an proper cold air intake. I highly recommend it.

  Had the 10,000 btu one. Compressor stopped staying on after a month. I'd have to turn it off completely and wait for a half hour or so before it would even kick on again and then it would stay only on for a few minutes before it cuts off and only blows out warm air.

  to get that 10mm back in i just used a tiny bit of duct tape so it wouldn’t fall off socket, worked good

  Thanks for this review. Before I pull the trigger, are all apps on your phone available with this system? My go to navigation app is called NAVITIME. Does this system allow you to drive with say KZread or any video app? Sorry for the many questions.

  No, CarPlay only shows apps that have CarPlay versions made. It is not a screen mirroring system, you can listen to KZread music as there is a KZread music app, but not a dedicated KZread app.

  7 years I was suffering with my BMW as I was not able to change gears smoothly or takeoff when uphill. I hated until someone told me remove that stupid thing from the system. After that car started to behave like normal car with manual gearbox. Smooth takeoffs, smooth shifting... what a stupid piece sh....

  The M18 is NOT reverse threaded. Was fighting this thing for 15 minutes. Had to break out socket set to get off. Allen wrench did BOT have nenoigh leverage. Btw 9/16” socket.
